Nope here is an example of the complaint is that you get 30s to draw a card, say you roll a Spire, obviously R.R. get AoE. Wait 30s Now you roll again, you get a spear.... meh, roll again, Bole... either drop it or spread it. Wait another 30s, you roll a ewer, obviously you re-roll it, get a spear.... So you eat it because ultimately you want that balance card, given that spear is best for tanks to get their non-GCD cast times down. So you wait another 30s, get Ewer..... reroll it, get an arrow.... now at this point that you've wasted 2 mins of content to do what makes your class unique and why you get a nerf to the amount of healing spells you get in your kit, you can either eat the arrow and hold out for a balance, or just accept your losses, dispense out an arrow and hope people like that GCDs are coming up faster....
That sucks. There are so many other RNG based drawing methods that are far better then this one, and still maintain RNG but keep it useful. If we look at League of Legends, Twisted Fate has a roll system where it cycles through the cards and it is up to the player to reinitialize the card select to choose a card. This way it's still RNG, but it also has a control that the player can be skilled enough to utilize and greatly benefit the party.... Instead.... lets just make it so that the cards can't be redrawn a 2nd time.... waita play it safe and worthless SE, because AST will still continue to be the healer not brought to content because the buffs still don't matter nor can be controlled enough to be useful to a raid.... NICE!
