That's great to hear that logic hasn't entirely escaped them. Are there any adjustments planned for Warden's Paean?
Yoshida: Expect it to have the effect of Esuna. Not only will it be able to prevent future abnormal status effects, but it will also be able to erase currently inflicted debuffs. The cast and recast timers were also adjusted to match the effect.
*casts Warden's Paean to mitigate Bunched Panties debuff* <3
It really bothers me that they left some of the primals unused, and instead homogenized them to make less sense thematically. Titan could have been tank, , Ifrit could be melee (look at the claws man), Gauda for ranged, levi for ninja (interchangable), shiva for healer, Ramuh could have been caster (or reverse the two, since Ramuh is the more benevolent of the two.
Nin/Bard/MCH share Levi
AST/WHM/SCH/SMN/BLM Share Shiva
MNK/TANK share Ifrit
Goon gets Garuda
Dragoon is the only class that got special treatment.
Serously SE You could have used Ramuh on Caster or Healer, Titan could have been done tastefully as well. Moogle could have been Bard / MCH. Just so lazy.
It now costs 2 seconds to cast since normal esuna is 1 second, and paeon is double the cleansing.
But seriously though, I hope that it's not the case. If it's still using a GCD, it doesn't change the fact that you're still taking away from dps to do a healer's job, and the latter should never be swarmed enough with their tasks to burden a non-healer to do cleansing.

Lol I know, it looks super similar to the Ironworks set. I'm not a huge fan of it, it's just middle-of-the-road for me. Not great, but eh, not bad.
ETA: I just looked at the primal gear again and everyone except for DRG have stiletto heels of varying heights.
This is how DRG-less parties are going to look:

Agreed still not ideal but it's something i suppose. It now costs 2 seconds to cast since normal esuna is 1 second, and paeon is double the cleansing.

I for one am glad Bard and Machinist didn't get Mog.
Friend/recruitment code for special items and things (use before paying first sub) RACN78W5 (updated) info on items here http://sqex.to/Cz9 code is entered via the mogstation.
Ninjas should get Garuda gears and Dragoons should get Leviathan. What's so hard about this? try to be unpredictable?
I think everyone has different opinions on what jobs correlate with each primal.
I don't see Ninja as Garuda at all. I thought from the start BRD/MCH should be Garuda ( the whole wind theme ), But is also works for Dragoon because she does lots of jumps.
I have no issues with tanks getting a nerf (This coming from a Main-STR WAR.)
My only concern is, it will now be harder for tanks to pick up the slack of weaker/more casual DPS. This means that basically those who play DPS, are going to have to pick up their game. Hopefully the training hall helps them in this endeavor.
