Well that was the last time I check...
Cause i do craft my own, got 2 friend in my FC and a friendly FC that can craft the remaining item
(You need at least 3 Crafter to do all)

The cheapest is gathering the comp and finding someone Nice enough to craft them XD
(I mean on my server i would... As long as the person have the comp)

Yeah they are about 600k per on Siren too, it'll cost you nearly 2 mil for a stack of 4, so I had to have my crafter friends help me, and even then I had to drop about 1.5 mil on mats alone. (Including mats to make the mats like the Blessed Fletchings and Pterodactyl Straps.)

As far as advice goes, as I've been telling a few people on my server, just wait until 3.2 hits, hopefully crafting becomes less about red scrips and people get back into crafting which will naturally drive down the prices. As others have said too, maybe buddy up with a crafter or three and see if they can help you, given you provide the mats. Hopefully though, crafting booms again, and your prices get driven down for you!

While I am a crafter, due to specialist limitations I'm only able to make two of them, and I still got all the crafted items without spending a thing.

I had been lagging behind on crafters because I was annoyed with scrip limits.. Melded my gear and bought 2 heart changes just to craft the items myself. >:| (friend made 3 of the other items).

..I'm kinda crazy though so I wouldn't entirely recommend it

2 mil? That's so cheap! Last I checked a full set is at 3 mil here on Ragnarok. ;o;

Lately On cactuar, any set of 4 is selling for 1 mill.

Some crafters are greedy and demand high price but if you can provide mats (all HQ but the main, like blessed fletching) you may be able to get out costing 1mil or so for the entire set. Depends on the crafters though, got each set HQ'd for about 300k (so 1.2 mil, but one person was very nice and refused the money) so 900k. Long as you provide the mats, a tip and some good food, you may get out less than the Market Board. For the items that I couldn't make (like the moogle needed for kingcake) HQ'd I gathered those mats and gave the person 50k to NQ them.

300k for one item?! So 1.4mil per set of 4?! or 300k for 4?? If the former that is incredibly expensive... or maybe Tonberry is just cheap... :O

If you only have 1500 gil you are doing something very wrong, lol. From roulette bonuses alone you can make like 50k a day at least.

Tonberry is cheaper due to the fact most japenese players do not buy gil. North American servers suffer from inflation due to the buying of gil. It's also why RMT tells are pretty much non existent on japenese servers.

on bahamuth prices are 50k or less , on Masamune 75k ~ ....JP servers are awesome

But since you are giving advice here - I started buying ores and bones for the tomestone, got a few of each.
I wonder if doing dailies pays off as much as doing dungeons. Is it as fast or even faster? Do you do it because grinding dungeons is annoying or?
How do you even start them and how do they work?
