For the next expansion would you like a new race? More Faces or just sub-tribes?

Viera need to go in, they already had the concept art for them.

Personally, I'd like to see half-elves, if they're based on Hilda's model. Yay for elven features without being a giraffe alien.

Honestly, I don't like the way the Au Ra were handled. They had really unique concepts going and for whatever reason they picked the model most similar to what we already had race-wise, then they tied the horns to the face so that 90% of the Au Ra are homogenized and flat.

After that, I would rather they just put more depth into the races we have than try to make a new one again.

I think we need at least a race that's not a human before we fix customization.

We have

Human (with muscled human subtype)
Human with pointy ears
Tiny human
Human with cat ears/tail
HULK
Human with horns and scaly tails

Would fit perfect, also in addition to that though i would really love for SE to add more variation of faces for other races if they did add one more race.

For the ones who don't want to change and give them also something to look forward to and a reason to go buy or use that fantasia potion.

I agree. In today's market, SE has to step up their customization. You can achieve some very unique looks in this game, but most of it is armor related as faces are redundant. We need ALOT more facial customization and other options in general as well.

Would not like to see Viera here well the male version anyways, people don't realize that vote poll they put up not everyone was around during that time, I bet if they put another poll up with some races people want I am almost positive viera would lose in that poll.

I just don't see viera as males, I only can really see her from ff12 and final fantasy tactics advanced 2.

I wouldn't mind if Viera was only for the woman half but the Male should be something else cause that I just cant visualize a viera male sorry and the concept art looks like crap for the guys.

i will not bet on this my friend... i feel a lot have too much expectation about "other race"
like people asking for non human race, what will never happend 2 main reason:
- 1 all the equipement will need to be remade for fit this new model
- 2 the mount, some will not be usable by this race.

I have to disagree. Just because a race is distinctly non-human doesn't mean it can't have two legs and arms. Here are some examples of Sylvari, a plant race that glows is the dark (how cool is that?!):

Sylvari is great example of a race that requires less gear remodeling than Viera (who use high heels) whilst looking less human at the same time. I think the only reason we might never see a non-human race is because the fanbase is unwilling to play as anything other than various house pet lookalikes even if they look about as convincing as a 5 dollar halloween costume.
