omg.. Even the spawn minions move has a timer.. Is that even legal? lol
Seriously, the day XIV allows modding like this, I'm gone.. Watching this feels like... work.
Just a random tidbit everyone probably already knew or assumed, but I didn't see posted...
At around 1:56 he uses Inferno (地獄の火炎, sometimes also translated as Hellfire or Flames of Hell).
Other attacks include Vulcan Burst, Crimson Cyclone, Hot Wind (熱風, not sure if there's a better translation for this), and Eruption.

Yup. And knowing SE, they will keep ARC as overpowered as he currently is.Hoping groups won't still be more orientated to "CON/ARC only!" when this comes out, but I have a sinking suspicion that still won't change =(. Just going by HP values, PGL and ARC are still pretty close and unless some of the melee gets significant damage increases (or if ifrit spams AoE every 2 seconds) ARC will still probably be the way to go. Fight still looks fun though! Just have to get hurry and get ARC up high enough so I can even try it if things turn out that way.
Looking forward to not getting invited to Ifrit Battle parties because I'm a lancer and I'll get wiped after one AoE, while the Archer friends sit in the back pushing 1.
lol /facepalm this isnt 11 bud. Sometimes no matter how much you play the class you suck, longer leveling... yea for you maybe.this is a prime example of noob mages not knowing how to player thier class.
conjurer was my first ever class and played it slowly all up to R50.
i hadnt played it in months, as i've since then got R50 archer and glad/shield, jumped on conjurer for darkhold run, absolutely 0 points in mind vit pie or int and still managed to own the class.
SE needs to slow down the leveling ALOT so people actually have to learn to play thier class instead of just cruising along letting everyone else do the work for them.
The fight doesn't look overly hard at all. In fact on the strategy scale it would be pretty low on the ladder in terms of Hardmode fights in WoW. Tank n' Spank until Voidzones pop, then move him out of the way. Don't stand in fire. (Run Away!) when he does charged AoE and Dash. Plus he only has about 10k HP and the fight looks to have a 30 minute timer. I see him going down in 10 mins at launch and then 5 mins a day later. Cake.
But it does look hella' funI'm pretty excited for new content.
Again, lol!

Well I dunno about others, but I have more fun making balanced parties and creating strategies from that.

This isn't related to the video [maybe indirectly], but if I remember correctly, doesn't Ifrit warn you not to attempt summoning other espers or else he'll kick your ass? Maybe we'll catch a cameo of others, or at least them being mentioned. =X

oooh nice, I love hearing the names of attacks. Kinda rings a few bells for an Evoker class, which is like a Blue Mage but instead of using regular monster skills, you use summon skills. ^^Just a random tidbit everyone probably already knew or assumed, but I didn't see posted...

Ya'll know this is a storyline battle right? Not gonna be too difficult and your reward will be advancing the plot finally after a year of waiting.
That gear the GLA is wearing before he gets tele'd away looks badass.
