So basicly you're asking for 5M for free. Honestly, that isn't how the game works. i doubt anyone would just give that away like that to a stranger ^^ Although i agree, prices are quite stupid

Let me re-phrase what the OP's remark should have been...
"Dear SE. Please make seasonal event items (such as Cherry Blossom trees), re-purchasable via the Calamity Salvager, where all other seasonal event items are located, if we've already completed the event."
If SE implemented the above and then still allowed those trees to be sold on the market board you wouldn't see them going for 5 - 10 mil per tree; which is completely asinine. They would even out at an affordable rate.
SE keeps shoving seasonal event based housing items down our throats with no way to re-purchase once the event has passed. They then turn around and make anyone with "extra's" able to put them on the market board for over the top prices and allow players to greedily gouge each other.
At this point, I'm not convinced they'll ever fix it because If we, the players, start hoarding seasonal event housing items to take advantage of this broken system we'll eventually run out of bag space. This would force us to buy more retainers, which in turn means we give SE more money. Sneaky hobbitses, we see right through you.
GG, SE. GG.

I appreciate the response and the bit of wisdom, but I only made this thread in the first place because someone else offered the same trees (in another thread I didn't quite make it in time to). This was just in the off chance there was another person like that out there. A low probability, I know. Still, not sure if it warranted such backlash. Some random asking for some trees shouldn't ruffle feathers lol.
