Huh, didnt expect casters to get Shiva was originally thinking of something like:
Tank-Titan
Maim-Ifrit
Slayer-Garuda/2nd choice shiva
Scout-Leviathan
Range-Shiva/2nd choice Garuda
Caster-Ramuh
Heal-Mog

Heh, well with Casters as shiva, Im guessing Ramuh as range, with Titan still tank and Mog as healer, unless they toss another curve ball, then we could see something strange like titan range or ramuh tank gear....breado shield... XD

Am i the only one who hopes they take it a step further and give each job its own individual primal armour?

Off the top of my head i can think of 12 suitable primals to use for 13 jobs. Just means someone needs to share.

Using that, i would assume...

Warrior = Titan
Dark Knight = Thordan
Paladin = Bismark
Monk = Ifrit
Ninja = Leviathan
Dragoon = Garuda
Bard = Moogle
Machinist = Ravana
Black mage = Shiva
Summoner = Bahamut
White mage = Ramuh
Scholar = Phoenix
Astrologian = ???

Really, i have no idea for Astrologian...

Edit: Actually, Alexander could work well for Astrologian. Problems fixed!

Phoenix armor isn't going to happen because lore, and we already have a summoner bahamut set.



The rest is not bad though. I greatly prefer it when classes don't have to share armor.

Not really sure how lore can prohibit Phoenix armour, but on the Bahamut set, there is quite a difference between what the dreadwyrm set is and what an armour actually emulating Bahamut's appearance could be.

Check the 3.2 trailer. It kinda looks like Ifrit for Tanks/MNK, Garuda for DRG, Leviathan for NIN/BRD/MCH and Shiva for Caster/Healer. Different armor models, but same primal theme. There's no indication in the trailer of any other primals having themed gear ...yet.

At the approximate 5:20 mark in the video, it looks like there is an AST wearing the Shiva gear.

Someone posted these images on Reddit. You can see the BLM wearing a set that is almost like dark Shiva gear. So, the artistic image they posted yesterday was in fact a WHM!!!

Actually the healer set might be the set seen in the Eorzea Collection 2016W video (or a mix between it and the Shiva set?)




The shape of the healer pants seems to be really poofy (not in the same spot, but there is a poof there) and I haven't seen this set anywhere else in the trailer.

Unless this is a crafting set, I don't craft, LOL.
