Pretty sure purposefully pulling a boss and refusing raises throughout a fight is harassment. What's the party supposed to do? Wipe so they can kick? That's absurd.

what has this to do with the report for parser ? if you speak of that particular part, I agree with you but my point and this of the lala was specific to the report about parsing.

Exactly, because they laid on the floor doing absolutely nothing and they clearly then showed they were using illegal software, I would report them for both.
Because I hate people who purposefully troll like that, might as well bust them for parsing as well. Has nothing to do with the fact that they had better numbers or whatever and everything to do with the fact that they HAD it and it's reportable.

I have been saved from being kicked thanks to parser users, you all remember mch in 3.0? The stigma attached got me nearly kicked from groups that had failed dps checks on Alex.

When in fact I was either number 1 or 2 dps and MILES ahead, all while the people complaining about mch couldn't even do level 50 dps at level 60

It doesn't matter, parsers aren't allowed at all, technically, so it's reportable.

Also, personally, if the member had actually fought and pulled their weight and then mentioned numbers at the end..I would not report for that. Who cares? It's all about the general attitude.

Here's one: I just got back to the game 3 days ago, and my best set of gear is a str/vit hybrid I was using to OT T13 back in november/december of 2014. I go into The Ayrie (or however it is spelled) for the first time and pull the first set of mobs, after saying I'm new. I pull in Defiance and then switch to Deliverance about 1/2 way through the fight, after I know the DPS aren't going to take aggro. The WHM says, "stay in defiance please." So I respond, "Even on 2-mob trash pulls?" and then pull the next set of 3 in Defiance and lead with steel cyclone.

I stay in defiance, but the WHM doesn't move and lets me die.I see a chat message of, "Last strength build tank in deliverance went down pretty quick," and I made the joke, "Yeah, I can see why : D lol" (since he had just killed me from typing.) Then he says, "You know what? I hate str build tanks, you are all going to be obsolete next patch anyways." And disbands. The DPS, of course, is on my side, the BLM was impressed with my aggro holding in deliverance, and says as much. AST joins immediately, we explain, he says he doesn't care what stance I am in as long as I hold hate and aren't bleeding health. I continue through the dungeon leading in Defiance and then switching to Deliverance after I set aggro. The AST says it was totally fine with no problems, DPS agrees, 3 commendations. This game is silly. I love it.

I think he means that most people would have let the parsing slide if the player had been helpfully contributing, but after the summoner in that scenario trolled through the whole fight, it's not surprising he got reported for everything reportable, both the trolling and the parsing.

The parsing was breaking a rule. It's a rule that's only enforceable if the numbers are mentioned in chat (because otherwise the GMs can't prove the parsing took place). And in most cases, it only gets reported if that mention in chat is in the context of harassing others. In this instance, the parsing was actually mentioned in a compliment, so normally wouldn't have gotten reported. But since the player who did so had been trolling, he got reported anyway. Moral of the story being don't troll.
