House was demolished..incorrectly.

Hi,

I had been out of the game for quite some time and a little over a month ago I came back because I got an email stating my house would be demolished if I didn't log and visit it.

So, I came back and visited my house and I even had people over. The email instructed that I had to visit my property and check my timers. I did and it was fine but a few weeks later I got another email.. Same thing.. I visited my house.

Last night at 10:19 pm cst I got an in game message stating my house had been demolished. I can't say I'm happy and I would love to resolve this.

My house was located on Ward 2 Plot 52 in The Goblet on the Faerie Server.

did you contact a GM after the second email? I doubt there is a lot they can do now except apologise

Did you go IN the house? You have to actually go in the front door. standing in the garden doesn't count.

Yes I was inside.. In my hot tub.. And I checked the timer.

I think it takes more then just entering the house, I'm pretty sure you actually have to do something with it (i.e. eat food that's placed in there, buy/sell something to NPC on your estate, garden, chocobo stables, etc..)

Each time I go to my houses I utilize something in there like from my examples and I've yet to get a message, so gives me time to enjoy Fallout with freaking out about losing my house lol.

Sorry you lost it though, if I am correct though then SE needs to clarify to people what exactly they need to do to keep their estates if entering them alone is not enough.

According to SE's own words:

Any free company member or private housing owner entering the estate at any time prior to demolition will cancel the demolition process.

How many warning emails did you receive? Because from your story, it sounds like you only got two, when you are suppose to get three: one at 30-days, one at 35-days, and one at 42-days, then an email saying it was demolished at 45-days.

I probably got a few but I only saw the last two.. The first one which prompted my return to the game and a subsequent warning after that.. Both times I entered the house. Like I stated before i even had a few people come over and one of them admired my wall paintings. I think the longest i stayed at the house was probably 10 mins..
