That's not fair. I beat Heavensward the night they removed Tataru and never got to fight her. Now I'm stuck with no way to get those cards past the cheating winsellers, and Squeenix sure as hell isn't fixing their broken-ass system.

Play the tourney, get a 2K-3K score, and while you won't win (or even place top 20) You'll still get a few thousand MGP, and two platinum decks to try your RNG luck against. It might take a long time, but I've seen enough people report getting the three tourney cards and lightning that way. It's just patience and lots of dice rolls.

doing this for over half a year now, got exactly one nanamo and a few dozen lahabrea, ultima and shiva cards (fun fact: got the one nanaomo on my first tournament, and nothing but crap since then)
getting the platinum cards from those packs is pure luck (which i dont have), you can do it for years and never get the cards
so in the end, the only real way to get the cards is wintrading, yay...

Yes, I know it's 100% RNG gated. Just like the WoL and Zidane cards in the Gold packs that take a fierce amount of packs to shake out. It's a bummer to see the ones you have over and over. But I've seen enough folks succeed in getting them, so it's possible. Given winning the tourney is not possible thanks to fixing, until they stick the cards onto some NPC it's what we have to deal with.

Drop rate on all 5-Stars is horrid. I've been farming the Imperial for MGP to buy cloud and over close to 2 thousand wins I've seen 3 of his 5-Star, and close to 500 of both his 2-Stars, and 250 or so of his 3-Star. So I figure the packs suck just as bad. But what can we do? Sigh.

well, i spent 700k+ on gold packs so far, still missing zidane. "RNG gated" can not even closely describe how frustrating this is. and then there are my 150+ runs "the aery" with no card... and void arc card does not want to drop... and... *sigh*
i dont know if OP farmed for months or just got ultra lucky, but the way it is now makes it pretty much impossible for someone without luck like me to ever reach the full 120

I hear you. I got lucky with Zidane at around 300K. I have few of the Dungeon only cards, as drops there are horrible as your Aery record shows. For time invested, the dungeon drop percents are way out of whack. It's one thing to play a NPC and need 20 or 50 wins for a drop, another to have to run a dungeon.

I've always felt that all cards should be obtainable via an NPC, or direct MGP purchase, and was pleased when they moved all the 2.X cards from dungeon to NPC availability also. Hopefully at some point we'll see the Tourney cards join them.

Just missing Bismarck, Thordan, Senor Sabotender, and Cloud. Got lucky with the majority of my card drops (Firion and Lightning from Tataru, Cecil, Tidus, and Nanamo from Platinum Packs, etc.)

The worst, for me, was Nidhogg. After months of farming Aery at a slow and steady pace (so about 50-60 runs), I finally got it yesterday morning.

Bismarck, I'm gonna try to rope my FC into helping me farm Bismarck EX for the card (which shouldn't take long), and I'll find whatever Thordan parties I can to try to get that card. All I know is, I want to get Cloud before Senor because Cloud is actually a very decent card for playing, while Senor kinda sucks outside of Plus.
