Tales from Duty Finder: Some make you laugh, some make you cry. Let's vent.

I spent alot of time in A1 today finishing up my bones. I did it 27 times and the vast majority of them were great. But a small handful weren't so great. Doing it so many times you run across some familiar faces. And there was this one tank, who would always get in an aggro fight over Faust. And this same tank, after showing tank dominance or whatever, would grab the main boss and place him right in the middle. And you'd think after .5 showed up it'd be smooth sailing since every tank has there own target, but nope after the jump he decides he wants .5. After my third run in with him, I really wanted to Smokescreen him before he pulled Faust.

A4. The summoner pulls, dies and refuses to accept any raises, so she lays there dead for the entire fight. People getting angry at her, calling her a bitch and saying things like "get your fucking ass up" and "must be nice to get your lazy butt carried". After the kill she says, "thanks for language, that's reportable", then she tells the warrior, "1129 dps is pretty impressive, you get my comm".

So, wanting to report people for language, and then parsing and publishing the parse? o.o

Que expert, get Saint's (this story is a few days old now) we clear everything too first boss, I have to go brb because my dog wants in, I tell party this, I come back, tank has pulled boss and everyone stayed locked out and let them die because I was still brb, he then respawned and proceeded to say that the DPS was so low during that fight and blame me for being a terrible DPS which is why I went brb (what? lol) he then logged off instead of leaving party and we replaced him....duty finder.

Report her for stay on the floor, but about parsing, I think devs stand on the subject is more like "if you parse keep it quiet and dont be an ass about other people dps" at least she didnt do that

Was your fragile ego destroyed because the smn called out your dps, no? So why report not exactly harassing you.

In a way he is right. Why would you report someone that didnt harrass you ? is that even important ?

Now this being said, it is also true that if you do not report what is by definition forbidden you agree with it and so caution it and SE COULD view it as you participating in such thing and you risk or may risk as well to be banned. Reporting what is not fair, misused or cheating is our responsability as players.

Final point, why would someone advertise openly to do something that is *Illegal* by rules that we all agreed to follow in the first place? They took their chance too if they are caught no matter by whom they are the onl yone to blame.

And to end I dont agree with the use of parsers to check others which is the case in here

Pretty sure purposefully pulling a boss and refusing raises throughout a fight is harassment. What's the party supposed to do? Wipe so they can kick? That's absurd.
