Why is there no Gold Saucer Arcanist glamour book?

...when I got to that cutscene as a former SCH main (I was NIN by then) I was so mad. If I remember right, their books have unique insides, too, don't they? It drives me nuts that the art team hasn't given us new page designs for both jobs after 2 and a half years.

The SMN and SCH book relic has unique and different from common Arcanist book. And I agree I'm bored seeing those page about centripetal or Pythagoras lol.

The old ones are different, but the i210 Anima relic is the SCH/SMN original relics respectively, just dyed solid black. I am so happy that my relic grind is leading me to a book that is just a black version of the Omnilex. >_>

We probably won't see many book ideas because they design books super poorly and blandly anyways. Most classes have some kind of interesting weapon (like the MNK weapon that grows into cubes around your hands, or the WHM flower staves that bloom when drawn, or the BLM staves that glow or have moving parts) and books just usually seem to be plain ol' books that you could pick up off a bookshelf.

I personally would like to see more like the FF13 book- it looks like a boomerang on your hip but when you draw it it extends and a computer screen appears. Maybe have a Carbuncle shaped book that when you draw it, it sprouts tails, or a book that looks like fairy wings that glows when you draw it.

There are several ACN enemies in the post-50 class quests, but I don't remember them using any unique books that could be put in Gold Saucer. They did make unique weapons for BLM and MCH that weren't specific to an enemy, though, so here's hoping they do the same for books and a star globe for AST.

The BLM and MCH weapons are specific to certain enemies. As far as I know, I'm certain that the MCH one is Captain Madison's gun/flintlock from Sastasha HM, which is a core mechanic of his boss fight. And the BLM one is the staff of the Lamia Prosector.

The BLM weapon is used by the Prosecutor in T7.

Gold Saucer should have a sports betting or chocobo racing betting book as glamour.

What about the book(s) Tristan Nightflicker uses? They may be already in the game (possibly the Titan book) but can't remember as it was long ago & Google-fu doesn't reveal any clear pictures.

As for Scholars, there's loads of books in the Scholasticate so something should show up. If not, why not have one of Tonberry design?

SCH relic is actually not unique. It uses the same page design as every SCH-only book (which first appears, best as I can recall, with the level 41 SCH book in Stone Vigil). There are only three page designs: generic ACN (which is also used for most SMN books), the SCH-only one, and then SMN relic (which was reused for the Anima weapon as well).

The blm weapon is used by the caster adds in t7 it is not unique.
