    Angry UAE PS4 players still unable to play after 2 weeks

    This issue has been going on for quite some time now. Ps4 players in the UAE are unable to play the game because apparently, our ISP (Etisalat) did something to block a certain address that's needed to complete the version check on consoles. I pay my sub every 6 months and am paying for extra retainers as well. Isn't it SE responsibility to have this error fixed by now? I should not be calling my ISP, SE, sending tickets to SE, sending tickets to Etisalat. I am already losing money (among other things, in-game), having just paid for my resub for the next 6 months, on a game i can't even play. It is not like we will be refunded or anything, but having received no updates from both Etisalat and SE is really making me very, very disturbed with the lack of appreciation to their customers.

    It's your ISP blocking it, not SE. As far as I'm aware from other threads they are actively trying to resolve the situation - even though it's not their own doing or fault.

    They are not "actively" working on it, we, the players in that thread were. We all know that SE does not control our ISP, but if it is your "business partner" that has caused an entire region of your player base to be cutoff, so to speak, from your product, i believe it is their job to get it together. Not for us to be chasing ghosts around just to get a very generic response from them days after. Even if i cancel my sub, it still will play out the duration of the 6 months i have already paid for, without me ever having spent a second in-game. I do not see anything good from my point of view.

    You may be overestimating SEs importance to your ISP. You guys are the ones holding the money, so you are more important. If it starts affecting more games, maybe a company like Sony may have more clout with them, but SE isn't that big.

    They can contact and assist with verifying the problem, which it seems they have, but then your provider has to solve it, which it seems they have decided not to. Either that, or they have put it on the back burner.

    If a bridge is broken and you can't reach your favorite store do you expect the store to build a bridge? Sure, it may be losing them business, but the best they can do is contact the bridge owners and try to get them to resolve it. This is all SE can do. They can't magically fix it or really do anything except say 'plx fix'.

    Bravo, you do not get it. You are giving an example of a one-time purchase. Going with your example, If you purchase a mobile phone that you will be paying a monthly fee on from any mobile provider, and one day it doesn't work, do you call the company that produces the phone, or the company you bought the mobile package from?

    Also, SE isn't technically losing money yet, as they have already collected the payment for the entirety of the sub, we, no matter how small the number, have already paid for in advance like i mentioned in my previous post. I have always paid for my sub every 06 months, having never faced any issuses before. But this sort of thing, where the only solution that the other players have found is to spend more money, on top of what we have already paid for, to play their game, i have nothing else to say.

    What part of "This is on your service provider" do you not understand. SE is not making you spend extra to play, and does not get kick backs from it. The money comment was directed to your ISP, not SE. Now change the version check or whatever port is causing the problem, but it will probably take them some time.

    I'd call whoever had the ability to actually fix the phone - and in this case that would be Etisalat. So go talk to them.

    What part of my initial post do you not understand either? I have clearly stated there what you are still reiterating now. Please read it first before constantly posting the same things that was already stated.
