How do many of you feel about helping?

It's funny, but the only time i've ever "rage" quit (and it wasn't even a rage quit per se) is when I joined low level roulette on my warrior, with the hope of getting some newer players I could actually be of benefit to, only to be placed with 3 ilvl 210s who murdered everything in sight before I could even pull. I just kinda force quit the game and queued again after a few minutes, because it was abundantly clear they didn't even need a tank to clear that dungeon.

Im always happy to help out players. Put up a PF for learning/ practice/ aim to clear etc im happy to join after clearing and give tips and all that.

However if I have a farm party up and I see someone with bonus ill kick you. Had someone join a weekly A1S clear last night, they had never stepped foot in Savage. Kicked them cause I find it extremely rude to do that. If I havent cleared I wont join a party like that.

Or even if its an aim to clear, if I cant clear then I wont join to be nice to other players. When people do it to me then yes I kick them.

I'm not an expert but I enjoy helping a lot. If someone from FC, PF, DR needs help in a content that I've cleared before then why not

Since finishing my second relic, helping PF groups is what I have been doing. It's a good way to meet people.

I don't think that too many people mind helping people.

Mind you helping does not include carrying those who won't try, or can't/won't take advice.

Right! When I join a group, it's to help, so I generally fill the needed role, especially after it's mentioned about maybe swapping jobs.

I try to help as much as possible. In my own ways. The last thing I helped someone/people with, were the Relic HQ items. Well, 3 people actually. 1 guy that didn't have the gil that was looking for a discount, I just flat out bought him every item he needed, another who was 300k off, and someone that couldn't get the fletchlings crafted because people wanted more tip wise.

I don't expect help when I play the game, and most certainly wasn't offered it when I first started in 2013, but I feel like maybe they'll pay it forward one day.

I always give new or inexperienced players the benefit out the doubt and/or offer help.

You know, I had just recently began to keep gil. I spam dungeons mostly, and I NEED/GREED every item and MB or vendor them. Over the course of a couple of months, I'd feel rich. That said, I'd sometimes end up using my hard-earned funds to support another player who appeared extremely serious about their goal. I get a million thanks for it, but I honestly don't expect the thanks. Lots of people I did that for ended up helping others moving forward.

Yeah, I would ask if I can join as a clear rather than just jumping in like that.

Is constant wipes enough for you to stop helping PUGs?
Does people who do more joking that fighting make you stop?
Are you the type who leave at the sign of "bonus" popping on the screen?

For all 3 questions the answer is pretty much the same.

I will help as long as there is a will to be helped or to improve.

But if people wants to stay bad or rather spit my advice back in my face then heed it then those people will be left alone cause i will never feed a dying horse.
