Had to be a fate leveled tank, I really can't stand those.

Had a similar run in where I was the tank. They accused me of being a fate tank. Why? I held aggro, did large-ish pulls (2 NINs does not make for mass pulling composition), rotated my CDs, and had mostly Slaying gear.

They gave me crap for having Parry on my left side gear, notably my 210 PLD Eso Chest and Legs. Apparently any presence of parry now means you can't tank and must have been a FATE leveled tank...

I'll never understand people.

When people just have no idea of how to tank, can't hold aggro on anything, and don't use CD, I generally assume they are fate leveled. I can't stand it, fates don't teach you anything about tanking instances.

I'm so tired of doing levelling roulette on WHM/AST (SCH is maxed) and getting new tanks that refuse to take my advice. I have PLD and WAR at max level. Not max ilvl, but good enough.

Riot Blade is there for a reason. Please, PLEASE use Flash or Overpower more than once. Use all your MP on it if you have to. GLDs have an easy way to regen it! An Overpower + a couple flashes is good for WAR!

Before level 30 (40 for PLD), your basic aggro combo won't hold aggro against the healer, much less the DPS, so do your healers a favour and TAKE THE DAMN ADVICE.

It was a really bad day for me in duty finder yesterday. I started my day off with a 60 roulette, and got fractals. I always enjoy tanking this, so I don't expect there will be any problems. I pull as many mobs as allowed per usual and proceed to tanking as usual. But I notice the dps is incredibly slow. And it all became clear on the first boss. The stupidly overgeared Mch player couldn't dps worth his hide in gil, and our Smn refused to dodge the 1st boss' aoe resulting in him dying multiple times. We wiped. Mch left, and a new Brd came in. At this point the Smn was berating the Mch for being horrible. As we went at the 1st boss again, the Smn kept dying as he refused to dodge. (How he got this far, only the gods know.) Our new Brd was awesome though, so no problems there. But the Smn, who almost caused us a 2nd wipe, blamed the rest of us for dps'ing too slow and said that he couldn't take it and eventually left. Good riddance I say, as another dps joined shortly thereafter and the rest of the dungeon went down like silk.

Later that same day I did my Exp roulette (Pharos Sirius HM) and got a Brd who was "too tired to aoe", as he promptly put it. Aside from the bedrudgingly slow run because of his attitude, we also wiped on the last boss. But we cleared it the second time thanks to an amazing Drg who carried all the dps that run.

But by god. Some people just... ugh.

A couple of Flashes for WAR can MP you out pretty fast lol.

One or two per pull is possible. What else are you going to spend your MP on?

It's the same with spell casters. Use Sprint. You don't have any other use for that TP.

Fun fact: Using Flash after overpower is basically free AoE threat. It doesn't do damage, but if you're strugglign on Aoe Threat, you should be focusing on that before worrying about your damage

As a WAR, I like to flash while pulling because of the radius around the player it has, compared to using overpower on the move that tends to miss mobs (drives me nuts but happens.)

I also like to use Flash to get some TP back on an AoE threat rotation if it feels like people are catching up. Doesn't happen very often with full sTR but I've had a black mage or summoner nearly get threat if I hold back too much.

Did leveling roulette with AST and got Stone Vigil. I haven't healed it in awhile, but been in it plenty of times. Me (AST) a PLD, MNK, and MCH.

Load in and they don't wait for protect and the tank was in Sword Oath. First pull was horrible, damage going everywhere. Second pull was just as horrible, but I died and we wiped. Told the tank switch to Shield Oath, thankfully he did, but it did not make any difference. Throughout the whole dungeon, damage went everywhere. PLD could not keep aggro whatsoever what with the MCH using their AOE move so much. He probably wasn't even using Flash, but I honestly couldn't tell, I was too busy healing and drawing cards.

Thankfully there were no other wipes and we made it to the boss just fine and the PLD was able to keep aggro on it, at least.
At the end I did found out the tank was actually new to it, but everything was all good at the end and I leveled to 57. :P

Saint Mocianne's Arboretum, me as AST with WAR/BRD/lolBRD. I asked the lolBRD to use Wanderer's Minuet, but he refused

After the turtle right after first boss, the WAR pulled everything up to the first wall, used Holmgang there, but barely used any other CD so I had to use both Essential Dignity and Lightspeed to keep him up. After the wall has gone down, he took all the trash that was still alive and pulled everything up to the second wall. We wiped of course, and I said "well, both tank's and healer's panic buttons on CD and a bard not using WM, that wipe was obvious to occur", which made the lolBRD yell at me, I should take care of my own business and don't let the tank die, and the rest were some french swear words I don't want to repeat here.

I never took the penalty so fast before, and so gladly.
