Saving Limit Breaks as a coup de grâce is stupid.

Had a BLM use LB1 on a big trash pull in WM hard yesterday and the tank and I complimented the BLM for it. He said "yeah I think these big trash pulls were designed for caster LB1." The mobs just melted, it was beautiful.

Hell, that's fine too! The tank pulls a whole floor, yolos all his cooldowns and you wipe everything out in one blow. That's synergy! Way better than someone dropping a nuke on a boss with two percent health.

pretty much this. if the dps miss a good opportunity to use it on boss- I normally tell them to save it and ask the tank to do a large pull so I can just LB it. But yea its one of my peaves when I run a tank and the LB bar stays full the whole time- while I am guilty of tunnel visioning but I do not let the bar just sit there looking pretty

probably they want to save the LB for the healer? i actually had to use healer LB2 one time in my 3700 dungeon runs o.o/

Love it when people refuse to use the LB until the boss has a pixel of HP left instead of half way through when the bar filled. Maybe if you used it when it was up we might get a second in? This isnt often the case but on bosses in raids you sometimes do get the chance to use 2 LBs. sometimes I use the lb when it's up during the fight and I can immediately hear the other members being frothing at the mouth with anger even though not using it serves no tactical advantage.

Limit Break 1 is usually a dps loss, more so if any dps is using any buffs. Then you have to think of time it takes to make sure certain buffs stay active, due to its castbar (Greased Lightning, Blood of the Dragon), and re-apply accordingly, they decided if/when its safe to use it so as to not be animation locked. LB2 isn't used much in dungeouns, and if people use LB1 all willy nilly, you will prolly never see LB2.

I have got yelled at in the past for some odd reason using blm lb on like 2 groups of trash, i think it was a healer stating we need lb for final fight....
Just goes to show how clueless some people are, lol
When going as mellee i always use lb on first boss usually. The bar build back up fast enough to have lb2 for final encounter.....

I remember back when I was a pugilist getting yelled at for using the lb on the boss as soon as the fight started. I have seen it in a lot of instances where it is either a healer or a tank trying to dictate when the dps use it. Which leads to them causing wipes or trying to get the dps killed.

As bard or caster if LB up, big pull... hell yeah I'll drop it on the mobs. If no big pulls though then I don't care about it to be honest.

Was tanking Amdapor Keep HM the other day with me and the Bard being the only vets. Our timer ran out on the deamon walls right as the bees spawned and right as I go "Ah shit" and go Hallowed Ground + Sword Oath I see the Bard fire his Limit Break and saved us from the wipe.

I let him know immediately that it was an excellent judgment call on his part.
