Keep in mind though that DSL is affected by distance from the closest hub, and that cable/broadband is affected both by that and how many people are using the network locally to you too. If you're in one of the big cities out East, might be the reason. I'd talk to your ISP if it affects more than just FFXIV.
Yeah I had a Cogeco account with no issues at all.
I had a Bell account with every issue in the world.

I wish I could say the same about Cogeco.

    Here is something extra special:

Wow, that Canadian Internet. Glad my data is being shipped to France when I am a stones throw to Quebec.

Also those pings may look ok, but my Ping Flux is ridiculous. In 2.0 a 3 step Mudra took almost 5 seconds.

I wonder if it's possible to just pay extra for Business Quality Internet?

It's actually pretty tough to move to canada. All the damn paperwork I've had to file, meeting with the CBSA, more paperwork, phone calls, more paperwork, more meetings. I'm sick of going to Toronto already! Lol

You're paying for access to servers, SE and Level3 have nothing to do with each other, SE didn't choose Level3, and Level3 has no obligation to SE.
