People that full-time tank like myself or my tanking buddies were gatheirng VIT gear since SE mentioned that they would be changing the formula. Chances are good, it'll be easier than ever to get VIT / STR accessories + upgrades (They're probably gonna have one farthing per run in 3.2 if you think about it, I doubt it'll be kept weekly.)

They dont' need an exchange rate. Grind some extra gear, it's extremely fast and easy and can be done casually (one void ark run a week + a few experts to cap eso.)

Only thing I hate is that I'm gonna have to allocate some Eso over to VIT accessories instead of buying Eso pieces for other classes like I've been doing. The pure-Gordion Fending pieces I have won't be enough, but I'm just gonna accept that I need to create a set of VIT.

The changes to tank damage calculation were announced in the live letters prior to patch 3.1 even releasing, which was in October. Just about anyone could've realized they would shift tanks from Slaying to Fending.
