I've had a full set of i210 vit and i210 str for a while now.
Not only that, ilvl will be increasing with the patch so I doubt this will be much of an issue. Just go buy the vit stuff with the next set of tomestones.

HW has been out for so long that most tanks already have full set of 210 vit and str acc. It won't tank long to get vit accessories if you don't have them and you got like a month to do it. They will get replaced anyway with 3.2 so does it really matter that much. They aren't going to waste dev time programming some trade in str for vit function.

you are still able to buy 3 vit accessories before patch (4 if you have 150 esos from this week leftover).

This has never happened in a game, but when revamps like this happened in "other" games, developers usually refund the tokens.

In 3.2, where the change happen, you will farm new tomes anyway to get the new tome accessories.

two things; none of your characters save one have tank at 60, and you are pretty much the only person on these forums that continues to make increasingly "strange" requests. you have 3 weeks to get whatever acc you want before the patch hits. also, you "not seeing" was pretty much you being willfully ignorant.

Also here are 2 points
1. damage effect of STR will not get removed, but only reduced
2. new crafted gears will have a ilevel high enough to be raid starting gear

So, the best will be to buy highest crafted vit accessories, bring the vit on cap with materias and then add str materias to them (because str will still do some dmg)
