emmm nope, SE says allways fending is for tanks, the loot sistem says you can roll only for fending gear, the game inself is designe for tanks using fending, if players find a weaknes in the sistem making tanks with slaysing more useful and effective is another question, you can't claim nothing to SE and devs, anyway they say "whe go to implement changes in damage calculator for tanks for make fending the 1º choise again" months ago, and whe have 3 weeks to farm fending if you dont have none.

If its such a big deal to you, get four bolts from A1 and trade them in for Fending accessories. Get the last one via one week's worth of Esoterics. That will last you until 3.2.

Your current gear is going to be outdated in less than a month and you're going to be replacing them anyway, never mind the fact that Eso's are going to be uncapped anyway. It is really not as big a deal as you are making it out to be.

I have full VIT gear and stats and never had any problems with any content. If I wanted to dps I went on my NIN.

Considering if you haven't used your tomes for this week yet already, you can replace 4 of 5 right pieces before the patch arrives. Which then there will be new tomes to start replacing your gear you already have.

Fending gear that locks to tanks only has both STR and VIT.

The gear will be replaced completely soon after the change anyway, as well. Run Midas floor 1 NM a few times, get some 'bolts', done.
