Sch says they're new.
Whm responds by pulling boss, then proceeding to afk. I call them out on it. (3 ppl died due to dat pull)
Meantime drk is explaining mechs. (about getting 3 orbs in last phase)

Apparently not listening, because sch+whm gets tethered together. Whm is afk and Sch is walking around in circles. I tell sch to get 3 orbs. Sch gets 1, waits 10s (so the buff falls off), gets another one... repeat.
At this point I dont care anymore because in hard the dmg is negligible.

At 10% We get LB3. War uses it on tank LB because i can LB (I was drg)
I facepalm and ask why. His reponse: "I dont care because its just trial roulette".
I facepalm harder.

depends in what situation that bard used it, wide wolley is a large circle aoe, it's better than quick nock in some situations.

It was in situations it was unnecessary... if I could hit them all with Quick Nock (which I was), then so could they.

Had a less then pleasant 60 roulette run today ._.
Middle of the night, suddenly DPS is the most sought after role (I only saw that happen like 3 times in all my FF life so far xD) so I queued up with my little NIN. Gear level and ability to play all over the place, ranging from "just fine" on bosses to "well, my AoE sucks, what was I supposed to do with more than 3 monsters again?". The other DPS was a new BRD.
What we got was a full ilvl 210 tank who appearently thought it would put him to shame to pull less than EVERYTHING POSSIBLE. Now if I was on my BLM, I would have totally apprechiated that! But that wasn't the case.
So we had a new BRD who refused to use even one AoE skill in the whole dungeon and a NIN who just generally sucks at AoE. I don't think I need to explain that killing one pack took ages and every single pull had me on the edge of "oh god the healer is gonna run out of mana before we finish..urgh why does he pull even more now?! oh great, there comes final sting...you realize the healer is about to pull aggro, right? No?"

I can't say it wasn't enjoyable to finally be required to use all my supportive skills to the max to keep the healer from getting eaten alive, but it was all just so...unnessecary x.X
Yeah of course you could argue it's not as much the tank's fault as it is the BRD's for not using AoE on large pulls and not singing songs to help the party out, but he was new, his gear level was so low that even with AoE it would barely have made a difference, and he probably had his hands full getting to know all the mechanics and songs were the last thing on his mind.

I kind of expect from an experienced tank to know that the biggest pull isn't always the best option just because you CAN survive it. Like, a good tank should be able to see "Oh hey, I have 2 people with low dmg who mainly use single target moves, maybe smaller pulls would be faster!"

Void Ark, just done reporting trolls.

I joined in prog on my alt(lolsmn) to Void Ark to get my weekly items... only wanting to run away right after I got in.

When I enter I see A group, everyone without Soul Crystals. All I'm like wtf at this point and see the alliance is pretty much wiping to trash after 1st boss (knots not being killed etc, you know the drill). I decide to stay anyway, I am desperate for my drops... We manage to kill trash and go to 2nd boss. A groups BLM- wait excuse me... THM, decides to pull. We somehow manage, with MANY deaths.

Tentacle boss, doesn't go ANY better. Boss is JUMPING around the room. We wipe. I ask people to put trolling aside and actually beat this, only to be ignored.

I leave.

I was in Alliance A. The funny part was that we wiped to people ignoring mechanics rather than to our lack of soul crystals, and yet people were blaming everything on our alliance. We ended up clearing after y'all left.

First of all, knots were dying in C's part of the map, while A was doing both A's and B's. The second boss we didn't wipe to, and 3 of our players were in the top 6 in dps. The 3rd boss only killed us because people can't do mechanics and that ended up killing everyone. Also, if they didn't want us in there without soul crystals, they wouldn't allow us to do so. So my conclusion is, other people can't do mechanics and blamed it on the people having fun. This is starting to sound like hunts.

Aww that sounds like it would have been fun. Wish I hadn't gotten my weekly stuff already and cued for that. xD Would have loved to see that. xD

Guess my hat or maybe even pants were too tight for me to have fun. I just wanted to get shit done before letter, clear and smoothly.
