How can you play that? I'm playing Dragon Age: Origins. Never had the time to play that when it was released. But now I see that it is really a good game. Not as good as Baldur's Gate was, but still quite good. I really miss that spell system that was in those old AD&D games. Starting as a mage was really hard, but later you could be almost as tough as a god. Turning an enemy to dust with a single disintegrate spell. And even on lower levels there were some good spells. I could roast 4 cobolds alive with a single level 2 Agganazar's Scorcher spell, if they happen to be so unlucky as to get in a single row by the time I finish my casting, and all four fail their saving throws against fire. And level 3 lightning bolt was so good, it could kill any enemies that got in its way if they fail all their saving throws versus electricity. And even if they succeed they still got some damage. And it all was so natural. Druid couldn't call lightning indoors. And you should be really careful when casting mass destruction spells, or else you could roast you allies instead, unless they have high magic resistance. And even with that there always was a slight chance they would fail their magic resistance throw. That was real fun. Now it's all so simplified. And there was real diversity in classes. Playing a mage or a thief was much harder than a fighter, but on higher levels you could get such possibilities a warrior could never dream about. Now there is so much as only 3 different classes in Dragon Age with some specializations available. There is some difference between them, but it doesn't actually matter all that much which one you choose. There are more fighting classes in Final Fantasy XIV, but I fail to see much difference. They have very little unique abilities. And that possibility to reallocate points is absolutely ridiculous. It feels like your game character can mutate at will. You should be able to allocate points, but not reallocate them. And there should be a precise description what they influence. So that you will either focus on allocating points in regard of a certain profession, having big advantages with it and disadvantages with others, or you will be a generalist, not having big advantages with any profession, but will still be quite adequate with any art or craft. Or focus on a combination of several professions instead of all of them. That could lead to a much more playing characters diversity, and therefore more fun of playing. Right now there is only difference in appearance, but everything else doesn't matter much, as you can always reallocate your points to better suit your other profession.
Methinks thou doest complain too much.
Dragon Age 2. It's something to do in my free time. I've actually taken more responibility for my college work too... FF was a major draw from it for a while. God Bless Japan! I have heard that their economy will actually benefit from this tragedy in the long term. It is hard to think about benefitting from such a terrible loss of life, but in the end I think they deserve to be able to have some good come of it.
Seems a little judgmental to make the first statement...when following it with the second one......But I think it's just their pride and arrogance.....I have never lived in Japan, and therefore unable to compare their version with ours to figure out the truth. What I know for sure is to never fully trust the official version of any government, be it our own or foreign.
Becouse i don't like Dragon Age at all.How can you play that?

I'm using my free time to drink more alcohol.
I have been stuck to the forums..
dang, Final Fantasy 14 is failing. I love the game with all my heart, but honestly the devs need to do something to keep gamers interested. Tons of new MMO's are coming out and i hate them all cept FF. So unless SE can do something cool, i fear the worst that the game will surely come to an end.
