    My best guess is that they're different species/class?

    Maybe I should clarify. I'm well aware that there are differences between one group and the other, What I;m asking is what are the differences between a Biast and a Drake, as well as the differences between an elbst and a tursus.

    Ah, ok. Well, I guess it's just as simple as them adapting to their environment. One specializes in lightning while the other specialized in fire. Kinda like a snow bear vs grizzly bear
