How come AST cards dont heal the Target?

As Astrologian is supposed to be the Buff healer it doesn't heal much.

It has the basic heal set up but not much OGCD. Its main thing is the cards but its weird that the cards from the healer don't HEAL.

The royal roaded buffed cards could be real nice like Enchanced does big heal, Extended does a regen, and Spread does a bit of both.

It would help alot with the mp issues

personally i think it would be too much... Ast got several instant heals and even instant heals with buffeffect (shield or regen)... giving the cards a heal bonus, would make them way to strong in my opinion...

The cards still give a buff just a low potency heal or regen too

Yeah but they only have 1 off GCD heal while WHM and SCH have 3

What's next? Why doesn't our gravity AoE heal the group?

I bet this will come within time.

LvL 62 Ast. - Throw - Throws the active card on your target. If it is friendly you heal it for 100 potency. If it is hostile deal 100 potency damage. Does not apply royal road.

Most propably extended with different cards having different sideeffects (dispell, hot, movement up // slow, heavy, dot).

I dont think its weak outside of Nocturnal but it would be a nice thing to its tool kit as it would give MP Free heals. This would also make up for the lack of a fairy in Nocturnal Stance as the cards can buff and restore health Off GCD so the person can keep Dpsing

Because most of them compare them too much with whm/sch... ill never hear people screaming out for more whm/sch buffskills... why are so much ast crying for stronger heals? Ast should be a cls of its own not a hybrid-clone thingy... the Dui healing-kit is great and the card-system is a funky bonus - but i like upcoming ideas in this thread like giving gravity a statuseffect or like:

this would make the ast even more unique and outstanding in comparisson with the burst healing whm or the dps hybrid sch - but thats just my opinion ^^
