FFXIV major NA news release: Chocobo's and Airships (why?)

I agree. No news is good news, at least for the next little while. We're not ready for prime time, yet.

No news is not an option when these sites just ran news stories about the game.... do you even read topics before writing your little quips?

Pfft, just consider yourself lucky they are even releasing FFXIV-related news at all.

If this is the only information they are releasing I would rather they didn't release anything at all. This makes it looks like since the game launched to the bad review the only thing which has changed are plans for chocobos and airships in a patch that was delayed. To people reading that site it looks terrible (much worse than it actually is in reality).

Or do you want the world to know that:

-Collision detection totally removed
-All mobs grotesquely enlarged
-The UI is still a mess
-Targetting is still a mess
-Combat is still a mess
-Lag is still a mess
-Crafting system oversimplified to the point of stupidity
-Jump still not implemented
-No new story quests added, leaving players hanging for over a year with unresolved scenario quest that wasn't even put together very well in the first place
-sidequests with no voiceacting (rofl fail)

Honestly, barely a single thing has been added to the game beyond two instanced dungeons and a bunch of settlement things.

We haven't had a real update since Tanaka's November update.

Or do you want the world to know that:

-Collision detection removed due to it being faulty
-All mobs enlarged to make fights look more epic
-The UI is vastly improved from it's original form
-Targetting is a lot better now and 1.19 will finalise it
-Combat works much better
-Lag isn't as bad as it used to be
-Crafting system isn't as much of a mindless grind anymore
-Nobody really cares about jump
-No new story quests added, except all the ones during events and 1.19 is changing, scaling and adding more
-sidequests with no voiceacting, just like every other MMO out there

Honestly, barely a single thing hasn't been fixed in the game since Yoshi took over..

We never had a real update during Tanaka's November update.
