Last night I was running Cutter's Cry on my caster alt, it was his first time in there at 38 on Summoner but I know the dungeon pretty well. We get in, the healer was lamenting getting it, basically saying she wished it was anything else. Someone else agreed, but we start, the tank pulls one of the bats by itself, we kill it, then... tank bails. >_>; I pretty much expected the healer to take the opportunity to bail too after her comments, but when she doesn't, I suggest we try a few pulls with Titan because sitting around is dull. The others agree, so we start pulling...

Titan, sadly, can't aoe agro to save his life (or mine :X) but in spite of that, we start clearing packs with Titan taking one mob, the dragoon taking one, and the healer and I kiting the rest around. It was pretty touch and go, but we manage to clear up to the first boss that way, despite that the healer said she couldn't target Titan, leaving me to play scholar by healing him. Still no tank, the dragoon bails at this point saying he has work in the morning. Of course the dps slot instantly refills with a machinist, who ends up being pretty nice, apparently someone who just came back after a couple years. We wait a couple minutes, then decide to try boss; I have Titan take the boss herself with me healing, and we burn down the marshal when it comes out while the healer kites around all the lesser adds... I admit, I was surprised it went so well. XD

At this point, we're like "We don't need no tank!" and just forge ahead. There were definitely some tense moments, and lots of running in circles spamming Ruin II. Second boss was pretty rough, between relatively high tank damage and that dot, but with the aid of a Swiftcast Physick when the healer was at like 100 hp once, we got through it. Two deaths--me and the healer, though we ressed each other--on the pack with a doblyn and two slimes, but generally pretty painless. We were all a liiiittle worried about chimera, but he ended up being the easiest boss by far because all three of us were pretty competent at dodging and he has very little tank damage outside of mechanics, so I could even dps some there. XD Healer ran into a Ram's Breath and died just before the boss did, sadly, but aside from that it was pretty flawless. At the end, the healer was like "Tell your friends you've been through hell, and you did it without a tank!" And we all agreed it was pretty much the most fun we'd had in a while! Sadly, none of the others were from Faerie.

Have been on Thornmarch Extreme the whole week. Every single time I had to explain the strategy, I'm on ps4, writing with the controller. Every single time people go full ret and kill a moggle for no reason, or start killing BLM or WHM after it was said not to hit them except for interrupts. I even had to stop mid battle to type and call out on people for DoTing, downing BLM and WHM and what not.
The question is why? Why people won't listen to very simple instructions?

Recently started leveling dark knight, I am probably not the best tank out there, but I am not the worst. I always try to position the mobs in a way to facilitate dps and use cooldowns.

I am currently leveling at Dzemael Darkhold and I have a question for all the machinists out there: do you see that flying mob in the crystal's aoe? There is a reason why I moved it away from there, so why do you feel the need to blast it back in place again? Think about the poor melee in the party.

Now, excuse me as I go to cry in a corner.

Edit: if both DPS are ranged, I don't care if the machinist blast things away.

Blank shot lol..I only use that skill when fighting solo or on bombs in pharos HM.

A1 normal HAS an enrage?

Huh, imagine that.

Yup, and I didn't even know that before. I didn't have a look at the timer, but it occurs ca. 15 minutes after the battle starts (I think).

Oh, and I found out yesterday that A3 normal also has an enrage. We had three new DPS who I explained the strat to, even twice, yet they neither managed to dodge any AOE, nor did they kill adds, and the overall DPS was low as shit. And the healers were shit, letting my HP drop from my initial 18k to, like, 1200 before I got the first heal. At one point I used Hallowed Ground because otherwise I would've died; 8 seconds later I still didn't get a heal so I had to cast Clemency. WHM spammed Medica II and sometimes used Cure II, AST wasted their sweet AOE balance while I explained the strat to the newbies and barely used any cards (or heals ._.) during battle.

Today I did 50s rou as my war; got WPHM.

Had a whm who insisted on casting regen and medica ii before every single pull... and despite there being very little healing to do, they just stood there and either unnecessarily cast medica ii (clearly their favourite spell) or /cheer'd at me. Really. Not a single dps spell even though they had so much free time... it was their first time there so I refrained from commenting about the lack of dpsing, but I did eventually have to ask they stop with the regen etc before pulls. How do you get past level 50 without noticing the aggro it creates? They died twice due to pre-pulling aggro on big groups! They eventually stopped when asked, but never said a word...

Did Alexander normal, we wipe once and I get kicked for some reason.

Because blame the healer, not like other people dying was because the dps and tanks were ignoring mechanics.

But whatever anyways, I don't have any issues with Alexander if the team is competent, but apparently when dps are dying from 3 lasers on them, or from too many stacks from adds, it's apparently my fault.

Really starting to just loath people in general. Seems every run I go into lately someone leaves or there is that one ass hole who is always right and everyone else may as well be crap encrusted dirt next to their gloriousness. Got Castrum Meridianum in roulette today and at the very start one of our dps bails. I ask if we are gonna replenish several times and even tell the person who is currently party lead how to do it since they may not know, all the while being totally ignored by said person. Then at the end one of the tanks thought it would be funny to drag Livia onto the cannons to start killing them. Vote New Party Lead needs to become a thing. Or just freakin let anyone replenish ranks.

Back when gordian prototype gear was still relevant, i had plenty of DF groups which got 0.5 comming in at around 68-72%hp of opressor, that pretty much was a telling sign of enrage, even if they desperatly followed the mechanics to letter. And its was very funny to see after second wipe to enrage they always start pointing fingers at ridiculous things. And you can clearly tell they've been carried as they have gordian gear on them.

I've seen the enrage twice. One, the first day of the release, when people (i180 or so) were still learning. Second, last week, when people (i200 or so) did as much damage as I do as a Botanist lvl 30. Top DPS : PLD. Then came WAR, SCH, ME (WHM) and all the other dps.
