I'm one of the people that usually leaves Skype/Kik info—I've not actually seen anyone do so for a very long time now. But no, I haven't talked to anyone as I haven't seen anyone that I took an interest in yet.

Well that is another thing. I have read a few posts saying they don't mind transferring, but if you aren't interested that is another thing. Just wait and keep looking. You will find a friend to play with.

Funny thing. When I joined this game I always saw miqote as a canine race lol (yup I joined this game cuz it look to have good graphics) of course now I know that it was more to the feline side. When I change to miqote, I see me as a dog. Hmmm. I am not able to see me as a cat.

I use to give my info out, but I stopped doing that when people started taking things far to seriously and then things were getting awkward and uncomfortable.

For example, I gave one person my skype info, and then they started skype calling me randomly throughout the day while I was at work without notice; and I got into trouble with my bosses for it. Then they later got upset with me for not answering the call and thought I was ignoring them. I explained to them what was going on, but the problem continued so I had to block them. :/

Now I spend more time getting to know someone first before adding them on social networks.

I've not yet had more than one contact, so I've not run into anything yet! But seriously some people can be very pushy and clueless, I'm sorry you had such bad luck. :x
