Yet not try job quest again. For now leveling Ast and... Cutter Cry, Chimera, I used Ascend 8 or 9 times in both dps. Sucess, but my mp cried asking for clemency XD

Horror story in the healers point of view
So I'm lvling my GLD and do DF with party in progress (cause.....you know, someone might be in need of a tank. I think I'm pretty good :P ). So my que pops instantly, I go in to find myself with two things.......A new player message......and that first boss "growling". As I say my hellos and go towards the gate, the healer dies of doom. Okay, so now I know that the "newbie" is not an alt and is actually new. So I ask if the others did any explaining.....nope, so I explain the mechanics, meanwhile one of the DPS play afk(they were there the whole time) while the other DPS /begs(verbally n physically) for him to come back..................nope *sigh*
damn this word count, n damn this phone for no editing
*. So we decide to three man it after waiting a good five mins.So the fight starts, everything good cept, timing my CDs with extra carefulness (is there even such a word? lol), starting with Convalescence to help with that extra regeneration tick.....nope, no regen. OK so we'll manage without it. Bees die quick enough with one needing a stun before getting downed. Repeat until third doom, typically healer dies(as do we all the first time, and every other time afterwards) and we wipe. Healer apologizes, DPS n I say no biggie "if at first you don't succeed, try try again".
So we proceed to do it again (btw I asked to kick the "afk" dps n and "afk" responded with a "zzz zzz"). So again, pull boss, tank n spank, bees come out, downed, boss growls, run around, everyone un-doomed, then I notice....my hp is down to the 1 hundreds, no heals coming in, not even the pre-casting bar. WHM was running round in panic mode, cancelling all his heals as they came out. I throw a X-potion (not really of much use in low lvl duns but the only thing panicky button atm)to get us some more time. I still die. Forgot to mention we got a SMN after we kicked the dps dps out, SMN starts hard casting resurrect, gets me up, bees n boss flying all over with the bard kiting them.
I aggro the boss ,provoke, while trying to kill the bee that the SMN just re-aggroed, yet bard n SMN still die from bee sting, I die from the bosses single target claw attack (raised with no heals yet), and healer dies in the next sec from a normal attack from boss( I somehow find it funny that everything timed so perfect as to have a wipe like that), healer is really depressed, says he's sorry and that we'll do better without him....leaves. After a change of another dps n a new healer we start to power thru the dun with 30 mins left on the clock. But I feel as if.....the newbie healer.....missed something.....He was willing to learn, polite, and did learn...I remember when I first did Qarn, died like twenty times to mechanics n not holding aggro(man I was bad back then). Bleh, just bleh. That new guy walked out feeling depressed, n I felt bad feeling that I could have just done more to help, I felt that he had the makings of a great healer, but nope.
Horror for the healer.

In similar situations, I create a macro in 10 seconds.
/p doom. Reach the plateform <se.x>
Trick done.
If one isnt enough and they need one for the bees, go for it.
ohhh~ Didn't think about using a macro :P
Might have been different if I had one back there.

I still remember a long time ago when I used to main healer when I first got into this game back in 2014. I had this one dungeon where this tank had absolutely no idea what they were doing (i.e. avoiding their defense abilities like they're the plague, taking aoes to the face, and generally unable to keep enmity off of anyone who isn't a tank). So after a few wipes, the tank and a Monk decide to take out everything they're aren't doing right on me. I addressed the situation as it came and communicated to them that I can't doing anything about the aoes you decide are too not important to dodge. Then the other dps said if I "knew what my job was?" I immediately scolded him and said that "my ****** job is to heal but I'm not properly geared to heal the ***** stupid that the tank obviously spread to y'all.Find another tank ready to deal with your stupidity 'cause I ain't got time for any of y'all for real." Tank tried to curse at me but I gave him an ultimatum, kick me and wait 20-30mins for new healer or shut up and let me help you become a better you. He didn't like that too much and promptly left. The monk ended up laughing and accused me of being unable to heal properly once more so I said "when I said stupid, I meant the entire party...not just the tank and the summoner.

from a few days ago; EX - AST - get saints. reasonably geared DPS and a DRK. DRK does the usual first 3 mobs to gauge party, then next set, etc. all is fine and they didn't seem to phased by me letting them drop to low HP to max my cleric time as i guess they trusted my judgement and use of Essential etc.
First boss is ok, not great though, DPS felt a bit slow, the DRK was making up for it by appropriately dropping Grit and using CD's, the main issue was id attempted to use a noct shield pre-pull but the DRK pulled as it hit so i was stuck in noct; not regen healing for me to DPS more, maybe attributed to why we saw a second set of ballons during BB rotation [aka the sign of slow dps] but we live.
do next 2 sets of adds normally; kill ants and then
boom
tank just leaves
no word
nothing.
DPS are like o_0? literally.
the SMN is leader and supposedly hits find new tank plz.
i decide i can handle shit one by one as they come so i charge off and fight each enemy i come across, DPS follow suit and we roughly but surely proceed. manage things ok but man im sure those hornets hit progressivly harder.
second honeycomb, we stand about for 10 minutes waiting because orn hornets. eventually we decide to use a titan sacrifice to clear this section.
done, get to second boss.
we conclude that it probably wouldnt end well due to the bosses spike damage so we sit and wait
and wait
talk about things
wait some more
id say half an hour later and still no tank join we sadly decide to call it quits.
its rather a shame when you think, ah ill just heal the dps and let us clear a bit further while we wait for a new tank only to never get it and essentially wait the amount of time it wuda taken to re-q and near clear another ex
still, being stuck in Noct by a speedy tank and then left in the lurch like that, horror
