Just some short DF story happened earlier. This also partially qualifies for the "Healing Horror Story" topic
So I was on the tome grind again and noticed the roulette bonus is for healers so haven't been playing my AST for awhile I decided to queue as that and ended up in Gubal Library, so everything went well save for the part the tank didn't notice and got oneshot by lv5 death but quickly apologized later. (Good guy tank)
Then at the last boss while I got in melee range to CO both the tank and the DPS (both ninjas) and the boss had to target me with the vuln orbs while I had that 'perfectly timed' lag spike (thanks) and it ended up near the middle. During the first add phase I immediately ran across the arena trying to lock the panels up and unknowningly one of the ninja took a few vuln orbs damage + debuff, I tried to get close to heal him but he's on the other side while I was locking out the adds before it spawns. Then he died to another orb blast on top of the massive debuff (dun dunn dunn) and guess what? He called me a "stupid healer". I've patiently dealt with plenty of bad tanks or DPS in DF as a decent healer before but this is one of those rare occasion that someone decided to pin the blame and call me stupid just because he's a genius enough to die to mechanics.
Welp knowing that I have the power to judge life and death and could have brought yet another death to him after I ress him, but I'm being merciful today so at most he only gets an AB regen and no cards for the rest of the fight. He survived (grats) after gaining some intelligence and we cleared the fight, I wanted to tell him off with something very polite like he could have watch out for the orbs but he immediately left the instance out of whatever reason. When I got out I wanted to blacklist him (yeah blacklist isn't just for RMT) but he's on another server and I don't feel like reporting an idiot so I move on hoping he steps on a lego or something 8^)
Fun times for me today. I'm working on a Conjurer/WHM alt, and I decided to queue for my leveling roulette. I'm a little green when it comes to healing, but it's challenging and I really enjoy what I've learned how to do so far.
I'm only level 23, so the choices for leveling roulette are limited to Satsasha, Tam Tara, and Copperbell. I zone in and, to my luck, it's Satsasha. I Protect the party and apologize for being new. Arcanist is also new, but well-geared despite that, and the Rogue a few pulls in complements us on how well we're doing.
Only in what I've been doing, I was watching our Marauder's HP plummet, having to constantly spam Heal on him to keep him up during 3- and 4-mob pulls. It was to the point where I would hop into Cleric Stance, hit the target with Aero, and his HP would have gone from full to 25%, forcing me to play catch up.
I take a look at the guy's gear, and I see nothing but normal quality level 15 armor and weapon on the left side, with nothing on the right (and the guy is synced down to 18). So naturally, this explains a lot, and I just assume the person is new. And especially given some of the rookie mistakes he was making, the Rogue and I decided to give him some advice. Rogue suggests pulling the trash pack to the ranged mobs in the group; I suggest using LoS pulls, marking, and buying rings. The Marauder then gets really indignant, and starts telling us off--the Rogue because they weren't attacking his target (and so pulling off him), and myself because he'd never seen his HP drop so low on "sastasha lol". I retort that he's actually so squishy that I don't even have time to keep Aero up, and that the extra gear could really help, and he says not to worry because he's at A3S on his main and, again, "it's just sastasha lol".
So the Rogue earns his commendation with: "I find it hard to believe that you're running A3S when you can't even tank Satsasha properly."
Tank enters crybaby mode, completely out of retorts, and chainpulls the rest of the dungeon, forcing me to burn through all of my mana to keep them up. And I have to give strong credit to our Arcanist in the group, because when I started to struggle, I noticed them throwing in Psychik casts to help (this being one of the first dungeons they'd run in this game). I honestly wish I could have commended him as well.
But yes. Tanks wearing tissue paper who cry when healers can't keep them alive are a Thing.

Just got a fun run done with three lalas.
Pharos Sirius HM, me (BRD), WAR, BLM, WHM.
Got everything done in about 20 minutes.
I got all their comms too :'O. I wanted to comm all of them but...yeah. Gave my comm to the WHM because there were some crazy pulls in there and man I wouldn't've wanted to heal that.
DF doesn't ALWAYS suck.

Clearly, the best Final Fantasy character is Locke Cole.
Glamour is TRUE ENDGAME
Had a similar experience on my SMN. The other SMN would put DoTs on one target in packs on 5+ while I was going all out with my DPS and I get kicked with only the words "wtf smn?"
I can only imagine they couldn't tell the difference between the two SMN, or DRG in your case. I mean, all dps look alike, right?

I really hope so, if that was the case... I pity them, it should've been hard to carry that drg.
Another pharos story, same day as the kick I was talking about.
I went in with a bard from my fc, all is ok. Tank triggers big room bomb generator, the room after the big dragon like stone creature, by standing in the hallway right before it.
I run to save the day and destroy the bomb generators and not having all the mobs behind the walls spawn, bard does so too. We clear the room, tank and healer die for no apparent reason in the other room, we don't, I get kicked.
TL;DR Tank fucked up, drg and bard save the day, drg gets kicked.

I was spamming Dzemael Darkhold to reach 50 with Astrologian (I love this dungeon, I would have queued for aurum vale but people usually leave immediately...).
As soon the group loads in, the tank leaves.
So it's me and the 2 DPS that probably waited forever (BRD and BLM).
We sit around a bit waiting for a replacement, BRD goes afk for a fast smoke.
When he is back I propose to try to 3 man the dungeon, I mean it's still experience and we all needed it; I am greeted with positive response so we proceed.
We do small pulls, BLM sleeps mobs while BRD kites a bit and I heal/dps.
We actually managed to reach the second boss with no wipes (I died 2 times on the way there because I miscauculated the damage some of the orobons would do on me, party survived by kiting while waiting for me to respawn).
At that point a lightbulb lit up in my head (and I facepalmed hard), so I asked my FC if someone was willing to tank in progress.... Why didn't I think of that before..?
Honestly, I didn't expect we would go that far...
FC friend joined us and she tanked from the second boss to the end of the duty.
It was a fun little experience, I would totally do it again.![]()

Aurum Vale last night. Had a tank who reached 9 and 11 stacks on boss. After the first wipe, he wrote " regen !'. I had never been so quick at answering a blame. Not to mention he got hit by the morbol's breathe 5 or 6 times.
I was the healer.

Landed in St. Mocianne's tonight with a friend (not the usual friend, but still a WAR). I was on SCH. We got 2 SMN as our DPS. As soon as we queue in, the two SMN greet each other, each happy to see another SMN. Then one asks for big pulls.
We melted that place. Arcanist powah! Apply moar dots.
Dude, how did the fights even go long enough for him to hit 9 and 11 stacks? o.O
Seriously, just... yuck.
