90001 and 90002

I got the same error last Sunday...thought it went away and it came back again this Sunday and have had it on Monday too...constant 90001/90002 errors on Balmung. Last time before these two occasions I had the problem around when the new expansion came out and the first week was hard to stay logged in.

I didn't really start having problems till I switched to Verizon Fios then I started having problems like this occasionally....and just on this game. O_O; Then I have also from time to time have lag problems during the evening...so I had to take on downloading WTFast. No other games give me problems besides XIV.

It sucks because I really want to enjoy this game. I'm hoping after work it goes away again like last week...its kinda wasting my money and I don't make much as it is. Q.Q

If WTFast is improving things for you, then there is an issue with how your ISP is routing you. Essentially that is what the vpn is doing--altering how you are routed. Either who they are assigning you for peering is having issues or there are issues getting you into that network. Either way, it should be something your ISP's tier3 support should be able investigate and get it addressed.

Well WTFast improves the evening lag I get from time to time. It does not prevent the constant 90002 errors I got last Sunday and this Sunday/Today...I can barely stay logged in for more than a few minutes.

Ugh it is just really annoying, this is the only game that gives me a problem and I really don't have the time to sit on the phone for hours with people trying to get this remedied because people can be quite difficult.

I got rid of this error when I encrypted my internet connection...I suggest yall do the same

Thats got to be it... thousands of players with the same issue, only on this game, and on nothing else. All coming from different ISPs... IT MUST BE THE PLAYER'S ISP!?

Found source of my issue --

Recent changes from regular patching have caused issues with computers with strict NAT types. Tested on 4 different machines on home wifi, home direct connection, and public wifi at a hospital. When on strict NAT type frequent 30605 and 503 errors when performing version check, and if the version check completes 2002 errors upon data center connection. The one time I made it past data center login I got 90k errors on the character creation screen.

Same here, contant 90002 errors since the mini patch came out. Dozens of times daily

Could you please instruct me on how to do this? I haven't found anything super helpful on google yet but if you have a solution to this disconnection madness then I would love to know how to do it

WTFast does not work for me and neitehr did port forwarding. At this point I'm inclined to reinstall the client.
