But as far as PVP, they could toss in wolf marks too or implement whatever they would in a open world PVP server just in a more enclosed space. But you're right rewards do help, but I'm sure there are PVPers out there that would jump into this.

I'd definately give it a shot. Too dull in PvE now so PvP is a great alternative for veteran players. Gives us something else to get some skills on.

Thats the other thing, when we get bored in this game from all the grinding and everything else, it gives us something to do instead of MORE grinding.

FFA or Free For All PVP Zone where it's just for fun.

As for a PvP zone, it wouldn't be a huge challenge. Daily quest, FATEs, and timed objectives could easily be made to help with the long pvp grind.

The devs can't make true gambling games due to laws in certain countries forbidding gambling in video games.

Not sure about the whole gambling is illegal in a video game since it's not for real money. FFXI had something called Venture Roll which was basically black jack.

It could vary between countries and time had passed since my last observation of the events. FF11 probably gotten a free pass since it's a game catering to older players instead of children. The devs for FF14 probably can't or don't want to put in gambling features due to RMT, but that's my guess.
