Isn't that dress just bits and pieces of the Thavnarian and MNK's gear? :B
I want the dress too but I'm not going to go as far and say that one dress is a "creativity beat down". >w>()
I'll call it how I see it.
as the poster below you has said reindeer hoofs and monkey helms, people who dont own housing get furnishing for what? nada.
Monkey helms seem like the horse helms from last year and lets not point out the santa beard meshes into your chest even when you take off the body piece.
Also void ark gear was pointless to even go after when you have af3 and it drops you a item that puts you to 210 when void ark is 200 even if its glamour it doesn't look that great.
i wonder what gear sets they have on the china version of FFXIV betcha anything some of their sets destroy ours.
So yeah I call it a beat down my words maybe not for you all but hey you are all entitled to your opinions.

China and Korea's base-games are still the same as ours, it just some stuff cut out or censored (like anything related to the undead), and maybe like one seasonal event (compared to the dozen that they don't have) that has an altered Behemoth as it's boss, a panda minion (which is just a repaint of one of our minons, Nana Bear), and the armor shown above. They also get updates later then we do, due to having to censor stuff. I even hear that China's server isn't doing that well anyway, with the whole P2P model not being popular there and the advent of mobile gaming. The devs over there are even thinking of adding a Boost to Level 50 service there just to try and increase sales.
Also, I happen to like Void Ark gears' look and that gear is more designed for gearing alt-jobs and those who weren't able to grind enough Esos for gear (for various reasons).
