Yes there are a lot of female miqo'te in game, but really there always is that one race in every MMO that tends to be very popular to play the female version of.

It seems like 90% of the male Au Ra I see are Xaela and fall into one of two categories:
white skin/black hair/red eyes
black skin/red hair/red eyes

And they all play that damn Edgelord DRK job or DRG and are usually terrible at either.

The reason people don't play fem roes are because fem roe look kind of masculine. I imagine most people that choose a female character don't want the character to look masculine.

Some people do play Femroes. :P Also having strength and being muscular is not the same as being masculine.

I tried femroe for a day. And I'd have stayed longer if it wasn't for the running animation. Least favorite in the game.

I'm not seeing this myself. Personally all I notice is how much my char is really in need of a supportive bra. They should bring back underwear from 1.0.

Thavdance solves everything. Seriously though, I wouldn't mind a booty slider being added, but then I've seen females of a few races requesting that so I think our bigger shoulders might be making it look worse than it is.

I have only one problem with the female roe shape, the shoulders. I don't mind no curves and lots of muscle, that's fine. But take a look at the shoulders, compared to her hips they seem way to large. But I still prefer them, I like being a tall muscular female that usually towers over the rest of the party. I am finding the shoulders make a lot of gear look odd.

I get this. I feel a few outfits are off-limits to me, like the Bridesmaids dress. I may as well be rocking a shoulder-padded 80s top with that thing on! That said though, we are Roegadyn and some features that were a part of the original male only race (and by extension, Galka in FFXI)need to be retained or we won't look like we're the same race at all, personally I would like some more muscles and curves. Also I want the tails back! *hides*

Yeah I love towering over people too lol. Specially when its a male, they're so freaking tiny and whatnot. Wonder if it makes them feel small when I stand next to them.
