Just as I mentioned previously, there are three ways to obtain equipment in FFXIV.

Obtaining items via difficult raids
Obtaining items through tokens that have weekly limitations
Obtaining items by spending a long period of time


Anima weapons fall into the third path above.
Anima's are gonna stay the same, super duper long grind. I feel sorry for anyone doing more then one.
