Ok, OP has the right to vent up if he doesnt like something about the game, and surely the stance has been something weird to look for anyone who doesn`t really know much about sword fighting, he is not the first nor the last person who would think "this is at least weird", even if it isnt.

The way of holding it during fights its ok-ish, i think pretty much any other position would have been cooler tho. But what i personally can`t stand, is the running animation with the sword unsheated, now thats a sin right there and i don`t care its also real and valid, it just looks stupid.

Oh they can jump. They just allow them to have access to Titan's Tumult on demand by jumping. Hence why race specific skills couldn't be implemented. :P

emmm no, the drk combat pose is epic and one of the best one's of ff14 more when is based on cecil (for me) and give me a favor, change the title is a little ofensive, you dont need call the job idiots because you dont like who they hold the sword.

This thread is very very old now. The pose does look stupid mostly because of foot work, but he actually holds the sword up well. The issue is you "stay" in that pose instead of going into other poses. You actually don't sit in Ox Stance long.

I know this is a neco'ed thread, but for the love of all that is holy, someone throw a image of Crono on here from Chrono Trigger. If I remember correctly, he also used a version of this same stance while in battle ingame, and to me, Crono is a bad ass xD

(Although, he used more katana's I believe than greatswords. )
