Rank grinding question

Just hit 25 and was curious is it realistic to pop a rank per day in order to get to 50 before 3.2 patch in Feb?

Possible up till around rank 46-47 ish. Also depends what GC you're on. I'm on Maelstrom with pretty long queues sometimes and I had to play a lot in order to get a rank in a day, But it's possible.

For Que's or for victories? The reason I ask is because you can actually level up faster consistently losing with faster que times than you can with slower que times but a good win record. Just something to keep in mind.

Also, Like Chaelyn said, your progress will drop dramatically after you reach rank 40. The last 10 ranks in PvP have the equivalent Exp requirements as the first 40 ranks, so reaching Rank 40 is like hitting a wall. Hitting rank 45 is like being buried under that wall. Depending on how many matches you get into per day, you'll be hard pressed to reach rank cap unless PvP is practically all you do. My advice would be to pay attention to your challenge log. If you have friends who PvP, try to set up a match fixing group for Wolves Den so you can boost as much bonus exp as you can each week.
