    They had to, Since they take more damage then the other 2 tanks, otherwise they would have just remained an unattractive paper tank. I don't see a need to nerf them, or they will return to the 2.0 curse they had. if they do any adjustments they will have to sky rocket PLD.

    Seeing they said the hole theyll rather buff then nerf. The main problem is DRK: Best at magic defense, WAR: Best defense all round, PLD: Best physical defense. With Alex being mainly magic defense obviously a DRK is going to be preffered. It would make way more sense to swap PLD and WAR. We keep hearing that PLD is the best tank by Yoshi...so make it.

    At the moment WAR and DRK does the same amount of damage, WAR does big hits then a massive hit with Fell Cleave but can only do that with 5 stacks, in that same time DRK has done the same DPS with its combos. Where as PLD damage is so small compared to the rest. So add PLDs bad defense for Alex and its small damage no one wants them. Part of the problem is SE making PLDs useless by catering the content to DRKs.

    Some fixes to make PLD better is allow oGCD stance change but keep the MP cost, that way change forever cause well run out of MP and then can continue our combos without losing progress. Give Clemency an instant cast it uses so much MP we can only use it twice anway. Its extremely difficult to use atm. Then a big change to help out everyone is make VIT tank damage, sorry but currently its a secondary stat that SE decided would be primary it affects HP and nothing else. Make it like STR for tanks and you've probably solved the problem right there and then we dont have a useless primary stat anymore. But keep VIT as HP for everyone else, sure SE can balance that a bit better then my wording.

    This hole post will get hate I know, but its the truth on the tanking situation atm.

    I agree with everything said. At this point I feel they really should make oaths off GCD since we've heard so much about it and it wouldn't be as broken as people imagine. Keep the MP costs, or even increase them slightly.
    Just toss a 30 second cooldown on clemency and call it a day. I understand the intent of clemency, but nobody actually uses it that way. Sorry devs.

    Pre 2.1 it made sense, to fit the 'glass cannon' archetype as a counter to PLD's 'stone wall' design. However, when they made WAR more tankier they didn't lower its damage output to compensate. Now it's closer to a lightning bruiser, able to take and dish lots of damage in return.

    Not that I can see it happening, but one thing I'd like to see is for WAR's Storm's Path 10% reduction to be given to PLD instead (to replace their STR debuff). The HP gain could still remain with WAR (perhaps while under Defiance only?), then swap/alter the potencies of SP and BB so that the former becomes the DPS combo over the latter.

    I'd rather they just made encounters with way less hard dps checks. That'd buff paladins AND nerf warriors.

    I for one am happy... Now all the new "Warriors" can go back to their dps class... Those of us who have Main'd WAR for a long time will adapt to any nerfs and press on

    A fight with less DPS checks still favours WAR though. Unless you meant encounters that focus more on physical damage mitigation... in which case things would just shift back to WAR/PLD over WAR/DRK.
