Need help pushing Ninja DPS to the next level.

How much should I be parsing on a doll as a 203 Ninja using i200 Yukimisus and how can I push it higher? Here are my stats and atm I did 1417 uninflated on Faust:

I feel like I should be doing better at this moment given some ninjas pushing 1600+. ATM I line up my second B4, IR, and Trick attack and I'm going to play around with opening using Aeolian as opposed to Dancing Edge (our static runs a Warrior). What can I do to take my rotation to the next level?

EDIT: No Food, No Pots, party buffs included.

Your rotation is probably OK. More AE will help a little bit, but it's not going to make a 200 dps difference.

Many things should be taken into consideration when comparing numbers, most important are:

Party composition - many high dps numbers are due to Astrologian feeding balance and arrow cards. You can look and see what buffs and % of uptime they had if you get into the nitty-gritty stuff on fflogs

Fight duration - obviously your dps is going to be better if you're clearing the instance faster (same amount of total damage but dealt in less amount of time). Many of the top parses are record clear times. So, you also need your other party members to increase their damage and help clear the encounter faster, which will result in higher parses.

We run a Scholar and WHM atm. Our WHM is learning astro though but chances are the SMN is getting Balance cards b/c he's obsessed with his epeen XD.

I don't know what to believe no more. People in A1S pugs tell me my iLv207 NIN is doing 1200 on Faust, while someone in the same group said I did 1301 on Faust.

Varies based on the program they are using to parse the numbers, many things can be factored in, the 1200 person could have a longer timer for when the parse stops counting for instance, which would lower the numbers for everyone because there are seconds where no one is outputting DPS.

If only we could get some kind of sanctioned in-game meter that we could all see at the same time and wouldn't have these personal differences in reporting hmmmm...(looks at SE).

The timer only continues when someone is doing damage, so you could technically have 10 minute timeout while you're all idling around and your numbers would still be valid. Unless you configure your fight to continue from heals it doesn't matter, but I believe it's off by default.

Yoshi-P is doing his best and is patching Endwalker. Please wait warmly until it is ready.
