Ah, okay. This is much better. Sorry for the hostility.

Three reasons that I think a vet rewards gate would be better (and I would actually be okay with it):

1. Mogstation is available to everyone. Yes, the have to pay for it but really that limits only those who CANNOT pay. 99% of people can have it. There is no telling how popular this item will be, it could easily flood everything, which is exactly what I want to avoid. Gate it behind vet rewards, and only 1% or so have access to it. Seeing it rarely is less offputting for those who don't like it. It's like those names you mentioned earlier. I put up with it and just inwardly groan because for every "Lockheart" there's 100 people with unique names. If EVERYONE did that, I don't know if I could take it, I might just avoid the game. See the difference?

2. Square knows that this would be a popular item. Saying "no, you can't have it unless you pay extra for it," is just a dick move.

3. The vet system doesn't flood the game: only a small number of players hit the latest reward, like I mentioned. But even as more people reach that point, the older ones have gotten new/different toys and have moved on. You might only see the bike occasionally. And furthermore, does only seeing it rarely not make it cooler for you? Everyone having one just kinda cheapens it, which is particularly frustrating if you spent ACTUAL money.

Ah ok, I see what you mean. To be honest though, when they announced the Strife outfit on the vet awards thing, some people actually bought the 100 something day subscription just so they can get it. I guess I wouldn't mind it either way. Its like when the lightning event started the first time and I seen almost everyone wearing lightning and snow stuff (I don't like FF13 series)
For me, I didn't mind it much as I know it would just be a fad that would die down after a bit (in which it did) and the outfts didn't look that bad, also I think the Guardian Corps FC started that day when it happened : O. After all I'm sure that bike won't be able to fly so people will most likely use it only in safe zones and PvP where flying isn't implicated so we may not see it as often....then again that magitech could fly ( ._.)
