Nice, if there's Whip, I'd say that's a Dancer. Hopefully, it'll be. And being even more optimist, on the next expansion

As for Samurai, everything leads to it. I didn't play FFXI, but, they are doing some seasonal quests that seems quite related to Samurai. The FFXI event, gave us some samurai-sh kinda of cloths and we had two other events giving us some sort of Japanese head. And the reason why they didn't gave us Samurai on the expansion, from what I read, is that since they had already did Ninja, they didn't want to go with another Japanese-Feudal class in sequence. Or at least that's one of the reason.

And, I'm hoping to see Sage/Seer, as they kinda introduced Krile (although he's a WHM on FFV). But his clothes are more likely with Seer, for what I've searched on the web and FF Wiki, with that cat hooded mantle/cloth/dress.

No Assassin job. Ninja/Thief has always been the FF 'Assassin' job with abilities like Sneak Attack, Trick Attack, Assassinate, Hide, and in FFXI THF got a trait that was literally called "Assassin", as well as AF2 armor that was called "Assissin's Attire" (and an AF3 called "Raider's Attire" which resembled Assassin's Creed with a white hood!)

doesnt help that NIN has all the THF skills now , even the chained skills are named on FFXI THF weaponskills ....so i dont expect to see thief ever ...sad because thief has nothing to do with ninja....but thats FFXIV for ya.

Flayer and Shepherd, yes please. Both sound fascinating.

Haven't seen a legit whip class since ff8, and WVR/LTW need viable DoL support. Being able to kill a mob, swap jobs and skin it on the spot (or even set traps) would be awesome.

If you're referring to FFXIV, then this is true. However, in "Final Fantasy", Ninja is upgraded from the Thief job.
