I think it's whatever class has the best one going for the day. I personally do the alchemist books. I prep the stuff before hand and pump them out when I see it has the extra reward.
As for rotation, there's no rotation. They're just like any other collectable. You just need to get them to 4000. If you use all HQ stuff for the books (as an example), you start with a base collectability of like 3750 or some such. It's really, really easy to do if you do HQ stuff. It takes a little bit long otherwise but it's still easy to do. I mean, my alchemist is still rocking her lvl 57 NQ main hand and has no problem getting past 4000 (with no HQ stuff.) It's not hard.
Makers Mark -> Flawless Synth
After that Comfort zone / quiet / hands /Waste Not -> hasty/careful synth till one more step to completion.
After that keep up hands/Waste Not and dump as much HP into normal/precise touch as you can w/o dropping below 99 HP. Fill the rest with hasty touches.
At 20/30 Durab go: Hands II -> Innovation -> great strides -> Byregots Blessing
Finish item.
Should be possible to use all NQ mats with your stats, albeit I would recommend some cheap HP food. More HP = less hasty touches = more normal touches = less chance for RNGsus to screw with you.

My advice : get more CP.
My usual rotation on Red Scrip Hand Ins is fairly simple though.
Comfort Zone, Inner Quiet, Steady Hand 2, Rapid Synthesis (may take 2), Careful Synthesis 2 (only if needed), Hasty Touch to 20 Durability, Steady Hand 2, Hasty Touch, Master's Mend 2, Hasty Touch x3, Steady Hand 2, Hasty Touch x2, Great Strides, Innovation, Byregot's Blessing, Careful Synthesis 2.
Know your CP! Working backward, replace Hasty Touches with Basic Touches as your CP allows. With 345 CP I'd estimate that you have enough CP for two Basic Touches. Keep that number in mind, because that is also how many Precise Touches you can take early on. My rotation is fairly tight with its SH2 use, however, so there are only limited times to take a Tricks (basically, whenever SH2 is *not* up). By using SH2 so early, however, I can take a Precise at almost any point. Just remember though, any Precise you take reduces your available Basic Touches later.
Also know your Progress moves ... You do not want to use a second RS if it will finish the synth early, nor do you want to use a CS2 if it will finish the synth early. I've a bit more Craftsmanship than you (because I've replaced all my MH tools with i180 I would suspect, melds could have something to do with it too) but my 458 Progress on a Rapid means it still takes me two RS and a CS2 to finish a 919 Progress recipe. If you are getting 371 Progress on your Rapid Synthesis on a 919 Progress recipe, you can finish it in the same two RS+CS2 that I use.

That's A LOT of hasty touches. Oo
How do you escape nasty RNG?
With 405 CP I can replace 5 of those with Basic/Precise. I was stating the base rotation, then the next paragraph point out the Basic/Precise replacements. With 345 CP I estimate that the TC could replace only two of them.
Precisely my point.
How is this rotation going to give consistent results to a novice crafter? After all 400+ CP is not a realistic value when you start out.
I tried something similar when I started out and let me tell you RNGsus was not kind. The outcome was entirely unpredictable. ._.
RNG really hates me in this game (feeling is mututal) so I always strive to make crafting as RNG free as I possibly can.
By the time you are worrying about red scrips, you are past the novice stage. Novice stage would be in getting your level 15 cross class skills. After that, you are no novice to crafting. No master certainly, but no mere novice either.
And I did advise getting more CP, as well. At 345 he is around 50 short of what he could have (without melding tools) with the i150 gear and Hallowed Chestnut level accessories, melded.
Now, about consistency. The whole idea behind crafting is to use as much CP as you can on durability restoration and Touch enhances, while using Hasty Touch to get as high an IQ stack as possible. Yes, RNG can screw you over that way. That is why you seek more CP, to either give you more Durability to Hasty with, or to turn those Hasty Touches into Basic (or with HW, Precise) Touches. Either way you reduce the impact of "bad RNG" upon your crafting, either by smothering it or replacing it.
True. I guess we both define Novice differently.
To me a fresh 60 is still a novice, because most people I observe at attempting crafting have no Idea what's coming and bitch about how long the leveling process takes.![]()
thanks for the quick answer and help![]()
