In NA, FFXI released one year after it did in JP

Even tho many people asked for it, i didnt say AA was what was lacking in combat or that it came to save the whole battle system, it was a minor improvement at best, it let's you chat while hitting if that's something you need doing i guess

We can agree it was bad combat system and now it's a less bad combat system. I still think it's boring as hell, the only way i can follow what's going on is when i solo, every party is just a skill spam nightmare and u can't really follow the battle log at all to see who did what and when...

See the point here is that SE launched this game we were all excited about and it turned out inferior to many people expectations and now they have most of the people thinking the game is not finished and most stuff is incomplete and sure it was ok at 1st when the game was 1 to 6 months old... but how long do they really expect you to wait for the game so called completion lol, too me it just lacks too much and by your logic i'll only be able to judge it fully in another year or so.
Anyway i'm happy for people like you who support the game, enjoy it and have hope in it's future, it's not up to my standards, not just this one SE has been deacreasing progessively on the quality of every FF game after XI and i feel it'll never be the same, i wanna stick around and see this through at least for a few more updates but i'm not expecting anything anymore

The battle system is MUCH better then before and it will only be better after 1.19 and after the job system. I am very happy Yoshi took over.
You guys got to get over the butthurt of launch its been a year already and the game is much better. If you guys are so hurt then leave and stop posting on a games forum that you hate. We have had a year of a free game no other company has done this, this is a pretty good confidence builder IMO. They know they can fix it and they will.

they were not the ones that were QQ and whining about they couldn't do anything besides hit 1111. you were playing the system wrong and could not figure it out so you cried like a 5 year old school girl about it. your base system of AA allows you to just stand there and the game hits for you because you couldn't figure out how to press a button. the changes are due to constant QQ and whining about the old system.

if you didn't like the original system you should have left and went back to your saving grace of xi and left the game that was advertised as different to actually be completed.

your opinion is battle is better post 1.18, but your opinion is not the only one that matters. if someone thinks it is worse then their opinion is just as viable as yours. just remember it was the QQ from the xi base that wanted xi-2 that cried and complained that started the issues anyways.

ill keep enjoying the new system instead of bitching because thats what smart people do. They play a game they like..... learn from this.
