Even if it is only me that doesn't like competition, that's enough to make this statement wrong.

PvP games are renown for their horrible community and that's primarily because of their natural competition. Competition means that for every winner, there's at least one loser. No amount of "gitgut", "learning" or whatever can change this fundamental fact of competition. That alone is enough reason to shy away from it. And no, this does in no way funnel "community". In fact, it quickly turns your allies into enemies. Just look at how much people flame their own team in MOBAs. Community? Really? It's the exact opposite.

I, for one, purposely picked a PvE game this time around to avoid the cesspool that a widespread competitive mindset creates, thank you.
