Honestly, this sort of behavior is why it took me and a friend of mine from well past when housing was released (Just now, we finally got ourselves a medium for our FC thanks to reclamation) and honestly, whether or not you need something to do with all that gil burning a hole in your pocket, you're preventing other players who were late to the party from getting their own FC estate or even a small to benefit from gardening/stables and the like

As I already mentioned... all these houses short of one were bought from resellers. It's not as if I make a habit of snatching up properties from under people. I worked really hard for my gil, and the abandon fees.

If anything, this could be used as evidence that even despite the harsh nature of the housing market that with enough determination anyone can carve out something if I pulled off that trick 4 separate occasions.

Got a house for me, my wife, and my best friend. Mists, ward 2, plot 49-50-51 all right on the beach and next to each other. Apperently these are the three best smalls in the game. Someone offered me 40mil for mine due to location and where the summoning bell and market board is (plot 49) Told him no that I would not let it go for anything less then 60 .

On my server no one buys or sells them (only once have I heard of a large FC being sold because they moved severs last year)... heck there are even a few smalls left because its in the Goblet and everyone hates the Goblet

But I think its much harder to make gil here too... we are just too self sufficient as a whole it seems.

With joy I can announce I've obtained my house at the desired spot in the desired ward.
Despite not being there with the initial house rush.

I was lucky but I finally have it. I'm almost crying with joy!

60mil isnt a joke. I just know that no one will pay it. I did own a plot in the mists before. Ward 6 plot 22 that I sold for 5 eastern cherry trees that I sold for 2.5 mil each. People do buy on Siren.

I currently own Plot 11 ward 5 in the lavenderbeds. I would gladly sell these at some high price just so I can go back and buy the 4 small homes behind our FC house. I would be paying out the nose to do that so thats why I would sell at such a high price.

There a FC on balmung that has PF entry that they have 21 houses to sell, such a broken system.

(they want 70 million to give up +plus what you have to pay game for plot)
