You know, you guys make semi-okay valid points about the lore which can be tolerated.
The Devs really didn't like the speed issue. We didn't see the animation. From the sound of it it looked really, really dumb. If you want to pay money for a really dumb looking bike, that's your prerogative. You're right, I don't have to get one. I most certainly will not.
HOWEVER, I will still be against it being widely available (lock it behind Vet rewards might be a good compromise). Mainly because I'd REALLY REALLY rather see an ORIGINAL bike design. It's not FFVII and if I wanted to be reminded of FFVII when I played it, I would just go play FFVII. There's already enough throwback glamor, in my opinon, and I like the fact that it's vet-reward locked and/or seasonal missable so I don't have to look at it more than I already do.
Absolutely nobody has responded to my, imho, very reasonable compromise solution that I have mentioned many times. Any particular reason it has to be Cloud's bike?
NO I will QUEIT!
Commendations.
If I play dps I only give it out to other dps.
If I play tank I only give it out to healers.
If I play healer I only give it out to tank.
Only if they should be getting a commendation.
There are always exceptions to the rules!
It doesnt fit, it looks so out of place. Like in TERA the police cars.
pls no.

Why is it always AC stuff?
Is it because it's most recognizable to people not familiar with Final Fantasy? like WoW players?
Everyone seems to remember fenrir more rather than the Shinra bike.

Sometimes you just got to have Some fun

This bike will complete me.

Please tie this in as an event with the remake of FF7.
The bike from the Midgar Highway escape sequence in FFVII is called the Hardy-Daytona. There was no indication that it was the same bike and had been remodeled into Fenrir. The structures of the bikes are completely different - the Hardy-Daytona is actually virtually identical to real-world bikes. The Fenir is 100% cyber-punk fantasy imagination.
Also, Cloud basically stole the Hardy-Daytona out of duress and he ditched it at the end of the sequence in order to escape the city (it required him to slide down a rope if I remember correctly). Advent Children implies that Cloud owns and maintains the Fenrir. Them being the same bike is...unlikely
