I asked on the video, but I'll ask here too: How old is she? My son is almost 11 and he's shown interest. I've thought about letting him play around with it, some.

I remember that I played Everquest (Ruins of Kunark expansion) when I was 11...

Given that FF XIV is quite easier to undertand, I think that a 8-9 years old could manage to enjoy the main story quest and dungeons.

But of course It surely depends from kid to kid.

Buuut....

PEGI system in Europe says that the game should only be played by persons aged 16 or over, haha.

So if you are the kind of parent who worries quite a lot about their kids looking at something with representations of violence/sex/drugs or whatever, it would be better to stay away.

( You should also keep them away from the news them, given that real world is far more terrible than most videogames.... )
