I said casually teleport, not transport. There lies the key.
As for casual playstyle, i just strongly disagree where you claimed Immersion doesn't matter due to end-game style content, Especially so in XIV where it has casual playstyle in mind.

First of all, it breaks the game's lore. The aether network is a central part of the lore: The ability to become one with the aether and ride it to its strongest points at a cost to your endurance of such transportation. It's just part of the world.
I agree it's good and important to have wealth of options, i'm just saying, make it reasonable and logical. Making the game an insta-fest is not healthy for an MMO. Sure tele should be available, but have you earn it in some way, a tele spell is one way, if not through through spell or an npc, perhaps by getting to a crystal and teleporting from there. Although i personally like to see some creativity and a sense of accomplishment in earing a teleport, especially now with multiple forms of transport available.
