I think part of the problem with PvP, and some other FFXIV content too, is that they have a wonderful foundation for their content, but rarely is anything built up on it. Wolves Den has all of the basic functions needed for a solid Arena mode, but without tournaments, leaderboards, seasons, and rewards its just a slab of concrete without a house to go with it.
