i call utter BS on this the maths doesn't add up. Maybe not be 16 hours but hey bit of maths.
So avg run time is say 5 mins tops.
you need 10 runs for 1 item and you need 20 items. so 50 mins per 1 item, so that is about 20 hours right that for 1 item...now you need another 3 items so your looking at 80 hours...it is pretty much impossible to do in 16 hours even with hunts it is the same story.
100 seal max from an S rank if you farmed an S rank every 5 mins ( impossible due to 3 day spawns) you would still get 1 item per hour and need 20 hours per item.....so the lowest time possible for all 80 items is about 80 hours.... Cut that down due to having saved up seals, poes and law and you could get it down to around 60-70 hours tops but that is pure grind non stop...
Edit: If its 16 hours a day that is what?
16 * 4 (jpn would of got the patch 24 hours earlier) 64 hours so yea its possible....
Is this casuals to you 16 hours a day pure grind?

I skipped the first stage. It took me less then 2 hours for the second stage (yay friends).
But yes, 16 hours is clearly too little time for the third stage ^^ Still! They certainly worked hard!
As long as they had fun it doesn't matter though, I personally am treating stage 3 like a scheduled grind that I do each day. (All beastmen + 4 runs of Alex a day)
Huh? Everyone got it at the same time >_>

Confirmed relic to easy.
Patch notes : Added another 20 items required from Alex savage mode..
It wasn't meant to be completed in 4 days, it was meant as filler from now to 3.2, and in 3.2 there will be a new step people can do until 3.3, ect. Relic is one of the few things in FF14 that is slightly less casual, and everyone took to the forums to form a circlejerk, stomp their feet, and try to threaten SE by unsubbing. Why can't people be ok with their being one or two things in the game that is slightly less casual? I don't like PVP but i don't try to threaten SE that they need to give me the griffon robe or else!!! I just don't do it.

Soon as 3.2 comes out the relic is outdated...the relic is meant to be for those who either dont have time to grind A4S or do not have the group/gear...so we are all mad not cause of the grind but cause of the fact it is the same rubbish we have been doing since HW....why did it take 6 month to make this trash? It wasn't meant to be completed in 4 days, it was meant as filler from now to 3.2, and in 3.2 there will be a new step people can do until 3.3, ect. Again relic will be outdated.
Actually it is around 15 hours per item from each alex, don't forget that it rewards law. The number of alex needed to finish the relic is closer to 600. 600*5=3000 3000/60 = 50 So in all it should take around 50 hours of pure grinding. So definitely doable for anyone doing a 16 hour grind per day for 3 1/2 day.

The relic doesn't just end at Anima. It gets updated with new patches in relation to the level of content and new gear released.Soon as 3.2 comes out the relic is outdated...the relic is meant to be for those who either dont have time to grind A4S or do not have the group/gear...so we are all mad not cause of the grind but cause of the fact it is the same rubbish we have been doing since HW....why did it take 6 month to make this trash?

Not to mention, if you're a casual player who doesn't have time for AS or you don't have great gear, why do you even need a completed relic weapon in the first place?
