Makes you really wonder if people even READ the Active Help when it pops up as you play the job you chosen to...

Reminds me of BLM in Sohm Al I had and I saw he was using Fire I and Bliz I. I tried telling him to use Fire III and then spam Fire I till outta MP and use Bliz III to get it back...

Result? He only spammed Fire III and I shrugged it off.

Was on an alt character, a 51 WHM in a a poetics top, a few market board pieces, some AF 50 gear, some darklight junk... just kind of in the evolving phase from low level/low grade 50 gear to better but pre-HW gear... (haven't even hit Levi, yet, on this character..... it feels absolutely strange to go into these HM dungeons and actually have to fight to heal through mobs, like the old days o_o Unlike on my main character's healers in their VA/Gordian/Eso/etc stuff... >.>)... anyway - DFed into Brayflox.
Only the very beginning made me assume this was going to be a nightmare.

The tank would not overpower and would only hit one thing and one thing only. everything else lost hate to everyone else. At one point, at the very very very beginning, I bit the dust.... I was tanking one of the monsters and was cast-cancelled twice in a row when attempting to heal myself. Boop, down I go. Ran back and swiftcasted a cure two to save one of the DPS. I made a gentle mention about using overpower to hold hate.... no response and they never used it.
We got through the first boss, fought the first one or two mobs after that and....... the tank just.... stops. We wait a while...... derp around in one of the spirel staircases.... finally we end up kicking them x.x

We never got a tank, so we ran the entirety of the Brayflox as a MNK tank, Bard OT and me sleeping what I think wasn't being hit at the time. Surprisingly, no deaths and the last boss was.....easy (did they nerf it, or were we just that well coordinated?). o.o Either way, the party was awesome. xD MNK even tried to tag and keep hate on multiple targets and the BRD played ballad at end boss <3
I'm just sad I had to give only one comm :/ ended up playing eenie-meenie-miney-moe with the two names x.x |||OTL I don't like showing signs of favor, in those situations D:

Nope, it never got nerfed. Not sure if you're talking about HM or story, but story is only hard if your tank is new/bad/both and HM has never been hard. If you are talking about HM, monk is a great tank. They get overpower, a tank stance, a self heal, damage down, everything you need to tank.

Nope, it was storymode, so everyone was sync'd - I don't think my alt derp has Bray HM unlocked, yet. I just remember it being a jolt for healers and tanks.
I'll agree, Bray HM isn't hard, and is one of those dungeons where I -like- it when tanks pulled everything up to the gate, if not for it to be more interesting to deal with (DS+Cure 2+Regen+dealwithasitcomes+SC Holy). The only thing MNK tanks don't have is the HP pool for mobs x.x (as I've been in that situation plenty, on MNK... I keep MRD def/hp regen and MNK/DRG dodge CDs for this), so I wholly understand that. I'm just surprised it went as well as it did, since I've seen much worse from Bray NM WITH tanks xD

Just had a Vault Run with a summoner doing his relic quest most likely. So they were in 180 - 200 gear. Did not AoE once. No Shadow Flare, no AoE DoT spread. Just focused on Ruin 2 Spam and going into Dreadworm Trance. That was it. Oh.. no pet out either.

Was promptly booted at the second boss.

Vault, me WAR and bf WHM

We're lvling up new jobs and we get MNK and BLM. Right off the bat I notice BLM is only spamming Fire I(seriously, what's up with these players!?) and stuff is dying REALLY slowly. MNK isn't doing any better, I'm outdpsing them both really hard and so is my bf. Bf checks MNK's gear and... well... He's using AF1, the ones you gear from doing 45-50 lvl job quests. Accessories are lvl 48-49 and from what I saw VIT. At least BLM realized to keep his gear updated and INT.

We cried.

I was running A4 the other day, for one 4 minute span I did 31% of the total DPS. I'm very out of practice on the class I was running with and tbh I wasn't even at 900dps for that time span. I was a very sad panda.

Just came out of a trial (Big Bridge) on AST - a DPS accidently died (I was following up a benefic II on them after a helios, as things were happening all over and I had already used my Essential Dignity x_oa) and realized, after the fight (and raising them), that they had apologized to me, for it o.o

I didn't even know what to say to that, since I didn't think it needed an apology - if anything, I shoulda been faster.

I'm too used to the usual, "I died therefore it's the healers fault"...
...and my mindset is just, "well, shit happens /shrug" - so I don't blame people for getting hit unless they're obviously being lazy... which didn't seem like the case o_o (I honestly didn't even see what hit them...)

We had been in for few minutes, tank was doing small pulls and had hard time keeping aggro on them, suddenly the tank tells me to change to garuda, I tell him no, as ifrit works fine and we're not doing huge trash pulls. He kept insisting that I change to garuda, I refused and got kicked. No idea why the others went along with it, either they were a party, bunch of clueless newbies or just plain retarded.
